Amazing! This cancels out the tough one against St. John's.. Love to beat the 11th ranked team on the road!! I love it when they are active in use their athleticism to get into the lanes... Bring on Nova!!

way for Dion to come on big down the stretch...when they are both on, Dixon and Kilpatrick are a dangerous combo...the defense was extremely tough late in the 2nd half...the switching of defenses really never let Gtown get in rhythm...people can say what they want about Cronin, but he really made some great adjustments tonight...great win for the Bearcats in beating a ranked team on the road...
Go Bearcats!

Anyone in the Big East can beat anyone in the Big East, except for maybe Syracuse. Toughest Conference in the USA!

Good job closing the game down and they showed heart. it would have been easy to lose heart the way that the Georgetown guards were shooting. They couldn't miss. Cash doesn't show up again tonight and his shot looks horrible. He did make two big ft's.

Gotta give Mick some credit for the defensive adjustments. This team has to be agressively smart. They gave up too many open and easy baskets by going for steals. Guess it balances out as turnovers kept them in the game for a long time.

Kilpatrick was money on both ends of the court tonight. His defense was the difference in the second half. Gates looked much more comfortable tonight. We saw what this team needs to be when they utilize the dribble, drive and dish.

Great win and one that gets you respect against a top ten 10 on the road, and a media darling at that. Well done Bearcats.

agree completely with SK's defense...he shut down their best shooter...i believe he only allowed the Gtown shooter to only attempt one shot in the second half...if SK can continue to develop defensively, he is going to be one of the best players in the BEast for the next couple of years...the kid can flat out score and it was great to see him not settle on 3pt shots only...seems like this kid has the right attitude and determination to be special...
Go Bearcats!

Cincinnati is at their best when adversity sets in. Incredible win for the Bearcats on the road in DC. They've weathered the storm -- again.

Two former Rick Pitino assistants --- Mick Cronin and Kevin Willard look like legit BE coach of the year candidates early on in conf play.

Dion DIxon and Sean Kilpatrick looked like they could trade blows with any one perimeter in the Big East tonight. Combined for 49 points.

What a win tonight. A big big answer. Beat Nova and then we can gain a TON of attention verse Uconn.

Gotta love the Big East.

Beat Villanova after upsetting G'town and coming off 9 wins in your last 10 games and you may find yourself back in the top 25 and getting national exposure.

Go .500 in the next 4 games and I will be happy.

Beat Nova and find a way verse @Uconn, @WVU or Cuse.

Looks like Cronin has found himself. The way this group plays should bring some excitement back to Clifton. I would like to see UC take advantage of this hot iron and do some self promoting while it can. Wife and I have been critical of Cronin in the past but it does seem he has come into his own. That X butt kicking was a good send.

When 3 of 4 and you're in great position going forward. How big would it be for this program if they could upset 'Cuse in Cifton. That'd be huge.

A little cross promotion happening Saturday since the football team will be there. I have noticed that Mick and Butch have been talking up more of each other's programs since our new AD has set roots.

TLL on the St. John's game thread:

"I will say this... Dion Dixon should not be allowed to shoot the three ball."

Good thing Mick listens to the Ralph and not TLL.

Dion was 1-4 from three? 25% since I doubt you can do that math. That isn't very good and I would NOT take that every game. Where Dion was good was inside the arc.
