The Bearcats, with the win today, have 4 10 win seasons in the last 5 years. There aren't many programs that can boast that.

Thank you to all of the seniors for their hard work and dedication during their time here. A special thanks to Collaros for making it back and having his last play as a Bearcat in the victory formation and Pead for making it so much fun to watch the Bearcats play. We will miss all of the seniors next year but I am extremely excited for the future of this program.

I am thrilled that Butch decided to stay at UC and I hope he is here for a long time. This is a great time to be a Bearcats fan!

Wasn't a Sugar or an Orange, but I'll take it. Looked to be a great atmosphere/great crowd and a nice venue.
We beat the SEC's GPA school, but in contrast to the last time we played an SEC team, I think the growth on defense really showed. So did our out right determination.

I hope Pead plays on sundays.

I just returned home from Memphis. Great weather, great tailgating, great game! UC traveled very well. 57,300 in attendance, with about 28,000 Bearcat maniacs in the stands.

I was out there with you, man. Got home at 7:00, just in time to see the UC-Pitt game. When we gave up that lead in the second half, I said before the kickoff, "Where's Mardy Gilyard when you need him?" And just like that Abernathy finally broke one. What a game that was and what a crowd. When he returned that kick the UC fans were as loud as I've ever seen. I only wish I was on the Vandy side of the stadium at that point just so I could really hear how loud we were. Also wish I could hear how it sounded on TV.

Funny thing happened the night before game. We were staying in the same hotel as the Vandy players and we stepped out of the elevator and about 10 to 12 of their players were waiting to get on. They stepped aside to let us through and I said, "Bearcats coming through," and my wife was behind me and wearing her little Bearcat animal hat I got her for Christmas and she started clawing at them and yelling "Raar!" I was never so proud in my life. I'm crediting her for the victory because her intimidation tactics were the clear difference in the game. Those boys probably didn't get any sleep that night.

Haha! NICE!

By the way, did anyone see Butch Jones at the pep rally (live or video)? There is a point during his short 2 minute speech where the Vandy fans start chanting S-E-C, S-E-C. Butch immediately stops, mid sentence, points at the fans, and says, "That's overrated." Then at the end of his speech, he said, "We don't get excited over 6 win seasons. At Cincinnati, we play for Championships." Freaking LOVED IT! Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4NhVUCvRZ0w#!

Lol, that is classic.

We really need to get over the big game hump next year. Find a way to beat Va Tech!
