Anyone see how many possessions the game was last night? Is that now 7 losses under 65 possessions? (Obviously taking the OT time into acct)

Plenty of teams play at a slow pace. Mick needs to create easier scoring opportunities by getting out off a turnover. Playing zone was totally the dumbest thing Mick could've gone to. Again has Mick ever explained it?

It amazes me how easily Houston scored while driving to the hoop last night. Then we would walk the ball up the court, run a terrible play, and jack up a three. Or attempt an entry pass to a big and turn it over. Drive to the hoop. Drive and pass out to an open guy. DRIVE THE BALL. Troy only does it after Mick has to tell him. We came out of the half and drove the ball. Recruit players who play physical on offense and can take the ball to the rim and get fouled. That's how Houston won.

This season has been a huge disappointment with all of returning starters back from last year. Sunday is a must win, and I think we need to at least make the AAC championship game, since the AAC doesn't get any respect. I think ESPN and other networks want to get LSU in the tourney for Ben Simmons which is a joke because LSU is awful. If we have another disappoint season next year, then I think it will be time for Mick to go.

Mick needs to recruit junkyard dogs. There are non on this roster. No alpha dog etc. needs a get to the rim fearless point guard.

It's a number of things of course, but I think the lack of development in Ellis is a big part of it. If he impacts more shots on the defensive end and plays tougher when he has the ball close to the basket it's a different game. He still travels and goaltends more than any big I've ever seen. At some points I feel like he has digressed from last year:

Last year: 9.9 PPG 7.5 RPG 2.0 BPG
This year: 9.9 PPG 7.7 RPG 1.4 BPG

JUCOs are supposed to be valuable because they come in a junior and can make an immediate impact, then grow and be even better their senior year. He hasn't improved at all.

I'm impressed with Evans and Caupain lately. Caupain will average 15+ a game next year. Moore needs to transfer ASAP. We could have used Tre Scott last night. We've said it before BUT next year's team will be much better.

Ten seed with a win on Sunday and a loss in first AAC game. Ten seed with a win on Sunday and a win in first game on Sunday. Win AAC and the prize is the 8/9 game. Give me the ten seed situation.

I'm in the camp that to thinks next season will be much better. Washington can play, flat out inside out. Clark and TC will be better as will Evans.

Last year we were 22-10 going into the NCCA tourney counting the one and done AAC tourney and got an 8 seed. This year if we beat SMU and then win the tourney I think there's a chance for a 7??

Records don't cary from from year to year. Last year has nothing to do with this year.

Why can't next season be better? Better roster with TC and Clark a year older.

It seems like I've been in this camp every year, but it doesn't happen. This was the year. Until of course it hasn't been. I'm done. Time to move on from Mick. Doing the same thing and expecting different results .... That Micks philosophy and it's insanity.

Winning 20+ is a good season. To many worry to much about a single elimination game. Four months and 20+ wins if good play vs. one single elimination game. Mick stinks. Don't get it.
