Ellis is the exact opposite of who i want to represent UC. I realize he had a ridiculously tough upbringing, but that doesn't excuse his on court antics and lame flop attempts.

You play hard to the whistle and then you're done. Let the other guy look like a tool.

Yep. I don't even like to root for him anymore.

I'm about finished with Cronin. 55 points against Houston is pathetic.

I'm going to try and fall asleep. Someone recap for me the vomit that comes out of our "coach's" mouth after the game. Thanks.

I really wonder what it's gonna take for this team to play with urgency. Did they not know their tourney was on the line? I know they're short handed, but this is the kinda of stuff that happened all year. Guys disappeared. We walked the ball up court. We didn't rebound at times. We played horrible defense, giving up layups and easy penetration. It's sad. We looked out of sorts, and this has been a common occurrence in games where we looked terrible (and they have been a few of them).

Looking ahead, even if we beat SMU, we probably still need to win a few games in the Conference Tourney in order to make the Big Dance.

Finished AAC play at 57.8 points/40 minutes away from home. That's who we will be in the AAC tourney and beyond. Slow, crappy, boring basketball that doesn't win anything of significance. Embarrassing.

They will probably lose to SMU on Sunday and finish 11-7 in the American. That is pure garbage. This conference absolutely sucks and UC didnt even come close to winning it.

Cronin says they don't talk about the tournament. He doesn't care where we are in the AAC standings. And he doesn't coach for wins and losses.

If Tulsa beats USF and we beat UConn there will be a 3 way tie for 3rd place (really 2nd since SMU is ineligible). Tulsa would be 2-2 vs the other 3, Houston would be 2-2 and so would Cincinnati. You would then go to record versus 1st place where Cincinnati would lose the tiebreaker and fall to 4th. That means we'll see Cincinnati vs UConn in the first round of the AAC Tournament. If we lose that game, I don't see us getting in.

If I hear a single excuse I'll be pissed.

"Well, you know Terry, we're playing short right now. It makes it really tough on my guys when we're playing with a short bench. Our guys are tired right now. They played really hard tonight, I just feel bad for them b/c i know how hard they want this"

"With that being said, we can't allow guys to drive to the rim at will. Our help defense was terrible, but like i tell our guys, at some point you have to put the ball in the basket"

"it's tough to win at this level when you can't score the ball, but i always tell my guys you can't take what you did on the offensive end of the floor to the defensive end. Ultimately defense and rebounding is what wins you game. Defense travels, Dan."

"it doesn't help when my guys are getting shoved under the hoop, i don't know what constitutes a foul anymore, Terry? you tell me, cuz i don't know"

That's just my best guess.

Rinse. Wash. Repeat.

A loss like this erases any close loss benefit of the doubt with the previous good teams. I have absolutely no faith this team will beat SMU. We play slow and have no team speed period. With Cobb and shaq out we have no fast break threats. With The way the selection committee views UC, anything short of a win at SMU and at least 2 wins in the tourney and there is absolutely NO chance of making the tourney.

We're basically locked into the 4-5 game. That means UConn in our First conference tournament game...again. Yikes. I don't know if we'll make the tournament anymore (something I never doubted until now).

Damn, that was really good. Really good...no need for the man to speak.

Sounds about right. Except you forgot to add, UConn will go on to win the AAC tourney.

We lost a game that many people expected us to lose to a team that has beaten every team in our conference on their senior night with the biggest crowd they've had in a long time without two of our best senior players.

THIS IS PATHETIC. FIRE THE COACH. CAN'T WAIT TO LOSE IN THE NIT. WAHHHHH WAHHHH WAHHHHH.
