Our defense is the MONSTER under your bed. I don't blame coaches for waking up in a puddle at night. I would rather deal with Freddy Kruger TBH. There is nowhere to hide from our D on the BB court.

Playing in their place will be tough but I really don't see us spotting them a 18 point lead early in the game this time.

These guys are no joke! I hope we can get up early like they did (I would settle for 5-8 points but 18 would be nice...lol). We seem to get better as the games go on. They are well rounded with shooters, play makers, and capable bigs. We are the better team but on the road this may be close to a pickem game TBH.

I feel very comfortable with Gary and Jake leading the team on the road...they are all business all the time. Cumberland is similar and doesn't get caught up in the crowd emotions. We need these guys to settle us down. Kyle is making better decisions recently. We have some options at PG to change dynamics if we need to.

Bring the intensity and focus. Play our typical ELITE D. Get after all rebounds and loose balls. Take care of the ball. We win!!

They are 8th in the country at home in defensive points per possession per Justin berg.

Can we agree that we if lose we don’t have a meltdown? Because a loss to a top 30 team that will ultimately help our league is not the worst thing in the world.,

I know if start losing it’s going to be hot take Central.

We need to shutdown brooks and Davis from 3. They both can light it up at home and gray and Davis have the ability to get our defense scrambling

I'm going to fire off hot takes at a rate never seen before on this site. I may even call for just shutting down the program. Stay tuned.

NO way no f-ing how!! I can assure you I will not be lambasting our team under any circumstance...but losing is not an option. We are the better team and we need to play like that.

I'm gonna go nuts if we go down. Already working on some material.

Gary Clark...not actually good? Could be a thread there.

Or how about "Does Washington actually hurt the team?"

Then we could do another smaller one about firing the assistant coaches and turning over a new leaf.

Just some ideas. Still a work in progress.

Thought of another one...

Instead of going pro, should Evans actually redshirt instead next year and try to come back better as a 5th year SR?

This place will burn if they lose. Not going to say it won't be amusing to watch, but I hope it doesn't happen. The Bearcats are in their heads. You don't cave an 18 point lead and not lose a couple of degrees of confidence. They won't get rattled and this is just one more step in the process of getting better every week. Something they've done on a consistent basis all year. Of course, Houston could play the perfect game and win walking away. But I don't think that happens.

"Number 5 in the country but number 2 in the city. Does that kind of get at you a little bit?"

Who let the Xavier douche in our gym? What a joke.

And btw Clark gave a great answer. Bc he's a classy guy.

I would've told the guy to go f*ck himself.

Seriously. I want a name. I'd like to have a chat with that unprofessional d*ckhead. That a**hole should be nowhere near our players. Total bullsh*t. Seriously. And the tone. What a smarmy little tool.

Going into this game here, I predict the spread to be no larger then Cincy -5. Picking UC to win by 5-8, a close game to where they boys are forced to make free throws to close it. The home game against Houston was somewhat a reality check. Do any of you all feel that how as well. Being down 18 to this Houston team may provide the Bearcats with the understanding of what mindset they must have starting this game out on Thursday. Win or loss, I am very excited for a very competitive game.
