Actually 3 more teams this year. I tried to ask the question in my last post, do you think the committee will use those three for the "next in line" or will they try to get 3 more mid-majors into the field?

I think it has to be the next 3 in line, otherwise there would be an uproar that deserving teams are being bypassed specifically for mid-majors. Of course, the next 3 in line and most deserving could be from mid-majors, but I highly doubt this will be the case.

It will go to the big boys. The tourney is all about revenue and the power conferences have more televisions and thus more money for CBS and the NCAA. You would have to think that CBS bid with the understanding that the extra spots were going to go to bigger named teams which will help them sell more advertising and television packages.

With the weak non-con games, I have to think its going to take 23 wins total, maybe one or two less if we get a couple of "big" Big East wins on the road against the highly rated teams...the upcoming X game may be more important at the end of the year than many think.

UC will have almost nightly opportunities for quality wins. The SOS will start dropping like a rock. They go 10-8 they will dance.
