5 star center who strongly considered UC but chose LSU and then UCLA was dismissed from UCLA.

Doubt any interest because main problems are with work ethic and motivation.

Sometimes a new environment is helpful. Although I'm not sure where he would fit in unless MC pulls a Calipari.

I'd take him.

Big talent. Big potential. Attitude problems.

Unfortunately, I think we still have a few "bad apples" in terms of attitude and work effort.

I'd take him though. He sits for a year and gets into shape/improves his game. If he is slacking, tell him to leave.

I'm done being a nice guy.

Absolutely.

However, we can always take both.

That would be 3 current players who would have to leave (Biggie, Davis, and Bishop). I guess that it's doable There is some speculation that Ratliffe may be off to the NBA after next year, and if this is the case then having another big man to step in the following year would be worthwhile.

I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. Guy can't get off the bench two years in a row and this years UCLA team was horrendous and he is going to improve UC's squad? Could you imagine him and Gates in at the same time.

I agree as well. Gates is bad enough. Don't need 2. If we can't get Ratliffe I would rather go after a juco that already has the body and experience -- somebody like Jamaal Davis or even John Williamson.

Morgan is from South Oak Cliff HS south of where I am in Dallas. I've seen him play twice. His team has had to vacate two big school Texas state championships due to academic ineligibility.(not his fault) . If he wants to play close to home he's heading for one of the Big Three in Texas or Baylor, Most likely Baylor. Scott Drew does well with transfers (see Epke Udoh). UNT, SMU and TCU wouldn't touch him.
