I just hope we come out looking like the I saw play at home all season and less like the team we saw on the road against teams like Tulsa and USF. If the outside shots aren't falling we need to adjust QUICKLY and work the ball inside.

Let's squeeze out a tough fought victory here and hope the shots are falling against UCLA.

UC - 70
KState - 63

Yes sir lets goo...I feel we come out ready to from the jump just like we did on our sweet 16 run against Texas.

Did a K-State player get hurt last night? I heard on Mike and Mike this morning something a long the lines of a K state player having an injured hip but still playing and making a big shot

Troy also can put his team on his back and lead huge comebacks in the tourney.

2 years ago Vs Purdue would be the perfect example. Or when we were down 11 to Tulsa and TC hit 2 huge shots that won us the game.

Troy will leave it all out on the floor. Its his last few games. I don't think he wants to go down easy. He has more clutch shots than anyone on UC
Troy was our "go to" in previous years. He had 37 against uconn. And was our most clutch player before this year. This year hasn't been great for him for whatever reason but hopefully he can end his career with a couple good games.

I think DJ Johnson has been dealing with an injury most of the 2nd half of the season.

Stokes got nailed by a screen. Hobbled down the court and hit a 3. I'm positive that's what they were referring to. But he isn't out or anything.

Yea, they mentioned it being a 3. so id assume its him. Well I think its a 100% given Cumberland will get an offensive foul in this game. So with that being said, find the weak link and run full speed ahead

I believe you are referring to kamau stokes he hurt the hip then hit a big three to help clinch it but was still holding hip after (kid made 5 threes for the game). But he is fine and will be ready Friday. Injury wasn't much

If the outside shots aren't falling it will be very difficult to find room inside. I mean would you let Gary and Kyle beat you if none of our wings could make a shot? I guess my point is we have to have balance. K ST. will play us like every other team has by doubling the post, forcing Kyle to his off hand and make us prove we can knock down enough jumpers to win the game.

Yep.

That one dude was pretty good last night for them though. He is 6'7 athletic wing

Iwundu has become a pretty good college player. I remember his FR year and it wasn't pretty. Still not a great shooter. Last night's type of game is where he thrives but I bet we'll force him to take jumpshots.

If we make life difficult for him and Stokes, they'll struggle to get anyone else going bc those 2 guys are the only ones who can create for other people. Making Brown play 1 on 1 is a recipe for an inefficient game for him (he can make a few shots but won't carry them). That Ervin guy is just a random bench JUCO guy. And that's really it for them for ballhandlers. Xavier Snead just isn't ready to help them a whole lot in this type of game I don't think.

NBADraft.net has Iwundu going #40 in the draft this year. That surprises the hell out of me. He has good size for a wing but I just don't see him as a good enough shooter to play in the NBA. And he has to have the ball to be effective. Not sure what NBA team would see him in that kind of a role. I'm really surprised about that.
