Its one thing to leave but its a completely different thing to sit there and say I'm not going anywhere and then leave!

We as fans pretty much all hoped he would just come out and say it. Now he has. While we know from Nick Saban, Thad Matta, Rich Rodriguez and countless others that this is not a 100% guarantee, BK has pretty much said all he can say to calm this down. If we continue to speculate, it's not his fault.

Agreed. BK is no fool. He's falling back on his political experience in his answers. His job is to prepare for the next game vs Pitt, and then the Bowl game.

We won't know anything until January.

-Supposedly has talked to two ND assistants via phone
-the players certainly believe BK is staying, which is a good thing, but Dantonio pretty much said the same things before he left....
-The rumors persist even though I bought the towel.

I just heard that he is interviewing w/ ND tomorrow. I also heard he stated that he wasn't sure if he was going to coach in the bowl game.

Apparently Stanford HC Harbaugh is NOT considering ND, and so BK appears to be not only a finalist, but the last top guy on the list. Unless Kelly's family sways him from taking the job, or the UC offer is pretty topnotch.....things aren't looking so great.
I do think that one consideration is that we go 12-0 and still don't make the BCS final. It may bother him, or not......but it sure as hell is in my mind if we as a BCS conference champion that goes undefeated and still gets stiffed.......when is that going to change??
