Everything is cool.. Gary is fine. Thought it was blown just a scare He will be playing thurs

Do you have some reliable sources behind this? Just asking as I'd like to feel better about the situation.

I know that Cronin wouldn't tell us either way as they would love Iowa st to think he wont play.

Hard to find positives from Samford and Lipscomb. Allowing 68 points to that team is an embarrassment just like allowing Samford to score 27 unanswered points on us. The attendance was horrible and the crowd was as dead as I've ever seen it. You could hear and understand almost everything Mick was saying because of the non-existent crowd noise. The Shoe was once filled with maniacal fans and deafening noise. Today, it's like a junior high gym. Horrible basketball environment. I liked Cumberland and Scott and was happy to see KJ do something positive. 2 boring uninspired victories and now on to a critical game for our season.

Honestly the biggest issue with the crowds has a lot to do with the really rich donors who have those lower level seats on the court side. They all require between a 14-25k donation ( it maybe lower for the back rows) and I find that so many of those seats are completely empty on small games and they owners dont even sell them, so they go unused. I think we have a lot of donors who just donate but aren't fans enough to show up to every small game.. And from UC's perspective, they are in a tough spot, they love their donations but it sucks for atmosphere having the players see so many empty seats.

Based on ticket sales, this game did probably in the 7-8 range but because of the Mich-OSU game, I dont think a lot showed. And it was against the worst team we play all year

If Clark sprained his ankle and won't be 100% healthy for at least a month, i don't want it to be a lingering injury so I think we should take our chances with Scott until conference play

You aren't even remotely close on anything you said in this post, but it does make for good reading.

Ha! Go figure. Another attendance comment from JustinHub. This time, a comment riddled with severe inaccuracies. Inching closer to that ignore feature.... SMFH

interesting, we sit in the upper deck opposite the UC bench and I would say at tip off the middle lower section behind the benches ( which I assume is the most expensive) was at least 80 percent empty.

My inaccuracies were guesses. So instead of just pointing out how inaccurate I am, why not elaborate?

Why can't I buy a lower level seat even on stub hub for low level games yet look out from my seats in section 221 and see tons of empty seats. Every single lower level ticket is sold out this season and yet haven't been full.

PS I wasn't bitching about attendance nor did I start the conversation about how bad our crowd was. Obviously I know it's a pain point for a UC fan to challenge other fans to go to games, such a terrible fan I am. But I wasn't even doing that, just trying to figure why we never fill those lower level seats when they have been sold

Exactly. 80% empty, but a 100% sold... I'm just asking why?

A sprain being a serious injury is a myth. With many sprains, it can be fully healed in days. 4-6 week outlook that someone posted about is uncommon.

Well he would be playing through pain I would think at the least, I just more or less concerned if he could hurt it worse, I would bet the UC athletic trainers would be pretty good with him but it definitely takes some time before you are 100% again. Especially where his game thrives with his ability to jump and land, which involves his ankles

I would agree here. Tre has played well this year. No reason to make a minor injury a major one. I would Let him rest until healthy

I'll say it again. You just keep posting inaccurate statements, I guess hoping that other people who also don't know the facts will just blindly believe what you're saying.

Don't believe for a second that those high priced seats are 100% sold. People are not paying exorbitant dollars to go watch Cronin basketball. Let me tell you a little story. I have a family of 6, a wife and 4 kids. For many many years, I purchased 6 seats and our whole family attended every game. In Cronin's 2nd or 3rd season, the administration delivered one of the dumbest ticket price increases of all times. They told us big donors that we were hoarding all the good seats. They said they were changing the policy and were going to limit us to 4 tickets so that those in the upper deck would have a chance to move to the lower seats. But they also said that if we wanted, we could still purchase those other two seats, but we would have to donate to UCATS a second time. I told them to stick those two tickets up their ass, and many others told them the same thing. Many great fans left the program completely at that point. Many of those seats in our section opened up and have remained unfilled all these years. My 2 seats were bought just one season of the last 8 seasons. They have sat vacant even though I would have loved to have bought them. I told all friends and relatives that if they wanted to go to the game, go buy the cheapest tickets, and then just come down and sit in my vacant 2 premium seats. I've had literally hundreds of takers in 8 years. I would have been gladly paying thousands of dollars for those two seats, but the idiots calling the shots got greedy and stuck it to us and they payed a huge price for it.

As my kids got older and moved out, I eventually only needed 2 seats, but a friend of mine and his wife decided to go in with me and buy the other two seats for the last 20 years. After last season's disappointment, he called me and said that he's done and won't return until Cronin is gone, so now I'm down to 2 seats. Guess what, those 2 seats have been unoccupied for every game. I know they are not sold. The whole row behind me sat empty almost all of last season. People would come down at halftime and snatch them up. There are empty seats everywhere in the bottom 10 rows, and, oh by the way, they don't cost anywhere near the prices you posted. A lot of my friends and relatives are very happy though. They get floor seats for minimum dollars! Go Cats!

THIS. I also fall under the lower level (4) ticket max BS. The seats next to us are always vacant after season ticket holders gave em up and UC refused to allow me to swoop them up. Fast forward several years and now that all UCATS donations applied are on a PER SEAT basis ($750 per seat), it keeps the casual fan at arms length. Buying $10 tickets and moving down next to us is a no brainer. I keep my 4 simply because I love the seats and have gotten to know all the other folks around us.

Back to the thread.... keep us updated on GC if you have any reliable information. MRI was scheduled for today

You are 100% correct. That was the single dumbest decision of all time. If Huggs would have still been here, those tickets might have been snatched up, but not for Cronin-ball and 50 to 60% cupcake scheduling.

I also loved my seats because of the relationship with all the other season ticket holders around me, but they have literally all left since Cronin took over. I just know 4 or 5 now. It was probably once 30 or 40.
