Shot selection has actually been really good so far. I think we pick things up over these last 7 minutes.

Struggling to stay in front of our guys on defense and defend without fouling.

Not looking great so far. Davenport came in and made a few nice passes. Though if we made some open 3's we'd be looking a lot better.

Lipscomb shooting themselves in the foot with turnovers and missed layups or they'd be up by more.

Looks like we are starting to pound it to Rap inside now. He has a big mismatch, so might as well attack it.

Brannen played with fire and got burned. Keith with 3 fouls now.

If we are going to win it's going to be by pounding the ball inside. Asadullah has done well on Vogt, but they don't have a second player with the size of Asadullah to guard Rap.

We're 13-21 from inside the arch while they are 4-12.

Eason has looked real bad in the 2nd half, beat on D and multiple TO's.

Vogt pretty much shut down by Asadullah.

Only saving grace is that Lipscomb is committing a lot of dumb TO's.

Hard to see us winning this unless we starting knocking down some 3's.

Can't see us winning unless Keith really gets going down the stretch. No one else seems able to make two consecutive shots.

Thought Vogt and dd played way too much. Vogt was bad for 20 minutes, great for 5 minutes. Dou looked lost, which is disappointing. Kieth wasn’t great. Maw and Harvey looked really good. Not sure why Harvey didn’t get more minutes. Rap looked good.

Eason looked good in the 1st half, dumb mistakes in the 2nd half. He has all the tools. Davenport looks like a great 4-year role player. A guy that will be a fan favorite

And good thing too. We couldn't really get Vogt the ball vs their zone, so he just made it happen on the offensive glass.


Guarded their best player and that guy went 4-11 with 8 points and 7 turnovers.

Definitely going to have to be team ball this year. Still doesn't really posses the ability to beat his man off the bounce. Just doesn't have the ball handling and lateral quickness.

A lot of hot takes for a first game. Let’s not annoint anyone or write anyone off just yet. No jumping off cliffs or calling final 4.

I was surprised to see Harvey with only 15 minutes especially with Keith out for so long. Davenport really surprised me today. I remember last year the first time he changed a game I thought it was flukey... but he did well tonight for extended minutes.

Looks like JB tried to get everyone in early just in case it was close and it was. Eason looks awesome but very mistake prone. No other frosh to comment on. Keith will be fine. MAW was surprisingly smooth tonight. Dou was rough.
