Big win for #Cincinnati-Mick Cronin! Mick has done an amazing job since he has taken over . UC was awful when he took over! Give him credit!

Great well deserved win by the Cats. One thing that does bother me and I know Cash and Dixion both had great games. Our Guards absolutely are terrible at getting the ball to the post. Yancy takes a huge amount of heat for his play but it is very apparent to me that he has a ton of trouble getting the ball. At the end of the first half he couldn't get a touch and I don't think it was due to Louisville playing great Defense on him. He was ready to play and eating them up. Louisville had no answer for him His spin and double pump move at the 5 minute mark was SWEET!!!. After that he nver touched the ball the rest of the half. He should get a touch almost evertime down the floor. Especially against the cards who have no answer for him and have to double. It would open up the wings so much more. I was screaming at the TV set. Cash will deliver on occasion but Dion never throws it in to him. Yancy's pass off the double to to Dion for the dunk was tremendous and his two pressure free throws at the end were huge. NICE GAME YANCY!!!!! It woud be a crime for him to go out with a loss on senior night. Lets get USF and avenge the embarassing loss to the Warriors on senior night.

Just a huge game. I was in Section 203 and the blackout was awesome. Marquee win and I think two more wins solidifies us (whether in regular season or Big East tournament).

I gotta say Waite Hoyt 2, that Yancy doesn't move around an awful lot to get the ball. When the other team is in man, he's not exactly muscling his defender to get position on him. And when the other team is in zone, he stands around too much (this is a problem with Yancy, Justin and Parker in the zone). I think Yancy is what he is....a pretty good player and that's about it. He was pretty good last night...not great. He made a few nice moves. He was huge on the boards. At the same time, he wasn't fighting to get the ball, and he had trouble getting it stripped a few times. None of this changes the fact that we absolutely need him in order to get anywhere this year and he's been an important member of the team.

It doesn't help the fact that the guards have no ability to get him the ball. There were many times he was wide open and the guards just completely ignored him. He still needs to post harder but I wonder sometimes if it's worth wasting the energy for him...BTW, Yancy's defense last night for the most part was very good. A big reason why Siva only had 14 points last night was because of Yancy.

One of the worst officiated games (on both sides) I have ever seen.

I agree, I know basketball is a game of runs, but that shouldn't include officiating. They went from calling absolutely nothing on Louisville to calling absolutely nothing on us. Meanwhile calling touch fouls on the other team. The inconsistency with Big East refs is horrible. I found it funny that Pitino ripped the officials after the game when I thought we were shafted, but looking at it objectively he had a legitimate gripe about some of the calls down the stretch. All-in-all I think over 40 minutes the refs were "even" in being bad for both sides during different stretches of the game. They let that #10 dude for Louisville look like a superstar the first 30 minutes of that game, then called two quick touch fouls on him and the momentum completely swung.
