I will be the first to admit I am do happy my previous predictions have been wrong! If we can run an offense to close games we would be money!
 
This program would not have been able to move forward without Yancy Gates.

Dixon has helped the team improve as well.

Both have had their struggles and their blemishes but they were both positive additions to this team.
 
Great win. They controlled nearly the whole game. Never really in danger. Bearcats answered every spurt by Marquette. Enjoy it Yancy and Dion!!!

Thanks seniors! Tonight was fun to watch you play. Dixon had a nice all around game and the crowd was all about Gates being a beast on the boards. Well done.

Oh yah...and you too Parker...you did OK.
 
Great games tonight by the seniors. Yancy killed the boards in his limited time. Unfortunate fouls called on him early. Love the aggressiveness.

Parkers shot has been a little off lately. loved that he decided to get to the rim. No one could stay infront of him.

One of the key points I found tonight was that this team can succeed with cash not scoring. All year it has seemed that cash scores, they win, cash doesnt score, they lose.


Biggest point of the night. When GreatOne and Myself where in attendance, they didnt lose a game.
 
Loved the effort and intensity tonight. Great to see the seniors go out on a positive note. Nice to see the Shoe rockin again. Both Gates and Dixion had a HUGE part in bringing UC basketball off the Canvas. As fans I hope we never forget that. In their four years we made it back to the Dance in the toughest conference 2 out of their four years. Thanks Guys!!!!!

As a side note it was nice to hear MC in post game admit that one of the biggest mistakes he's made was not redshirting Parker. Parker was huge and has been since his return from injury early in the year. If he takes another leap this off season next year could be another big year for the Cats.

Nice post! I agree with your points. How sweet have the past few home games been?! (In regard to the atmosphere) I am just happy the student crowd is back on board and hopefully they remember how much fun and rowdy basketball games are. I love how many faces our students get! The best one last night was the giant cut out of Dion and Yancy chest bumping! The shoe is an amazing place when its full and charged up like that.

Missed the call on a USF loss. I can't stand watching them play but they win so who cares how they look right?

Is there any player in college basketball that gets hit more and gets less calls than Yancy?

Not this year. In college basketball history, yes, his name was Danny Fortson.
