Win or loss we will still have a chance at the tournament. A win would give us very impressive wins on the road.

If we can find a way we can show the selection committee wins @Marquette, @Uconn, Notre Dame, @Gtown.

That is strong.

I think if you beat Marquette 1 out of 2 times, beat Louisville, and win all but 1 of the other games and you will be solidly in.

That would bring our record to 22-9 (12-6) and a real look at a double bye.

One thing about Marquette is they never stop playing, the only concern I have is the Cats get up 5-7 points in the game and relax. I think they have come from behind in like every Big East game I've watched included a game against UL where they were down like 19-2

I think the key is our man to man defense in this game. We need to shut down their 3 point shooters, hold them under 30 percent, and we win. If we play loose and let them get open shots, it will be a long day.

What a complete beatdown. 31 point swing by Marq when UC was up 16-4??? WTF???

Better get used to this kind of play, because there is nothing that indicates that for the next few years, we will ever show better than a bubble team.

No way this team makes or should be rewarded with a NCAA trip.

This is an overreaction

Losing to the 19 best team at their place isn't the end of the world

Right, because this is just one game in the season..

If you feel good and confindent about UC after this woodshed beating then by all means do. I will take what I have watched from the whole season and see little to no improvement in this team.

Poor basketball IQ, poor passing, poor shot selection, can't catch a pass when it's handed to them, ect, ect. UC rpi will not get high enough to warrent an at large birth.

They REALLY needed this game today and layed the biggest egg since the shootout.

It's unacceptable and embarrassing to play like this today.

I don't feel good no. Especially with the way we handled their pressure. But the loss is certainly understandable and we will see them again at home. I think most rational people, UC fans included, penciled in a loss this game for the bearcats

We have to beat the teams were supposed to beat. We have to hold serve at home vs Providence, seton hall, and UL then take care of business at USF

If you*blaming the Coach you are mistaken! The players couldn't the press because they left Cash by himself! This senior class lack IQ! He had to put a freshmen in there to help beat the press! They lack the mental toughness! All that said I really like the freshmen, they seem to have some toughness in them!

I don't think thats enough to get them in. Just my opinion. They needed another high profile win to push there numbers up and add to the resume with ugly losses to Preb, Marshall, and St. John's all at home.

I agree. I think you are right about that....

What I meant by that is we can't afford any losses to 'inferior' teams because we have zero margin for error. But you are right. Marquette and/or UL is a must win
