I forget who said it and who was doing the name calling but someone said they've been to XU games and Cintas and that somehow makes you not a UC fan. Honestly, never attended an XU game but I envy that their arena has surpassed ours.

Apparently being a fan means that grown men/women (probably even a few senior citizens) need to act like 4th graders to get a point across.

You grew up in Norwood Waite? I lived in Norwood through junior high. My Dad worked at GM, I went Allison and Williams Ave. Elementaries. And to my way of thinking, anything across the railroad tracks next to Stones Lanes was definitely NOT in Norwood

I knew their was a reason I liked you. I went to kindergarten at Williams ave. lived on floral and went to St. Matthews. Used to bowl in a league at stones on Saturdays. I also sold newspapers in front of the white castles right out in front of GM.

why is it that you guys police content to the point of a PG movie? honest question. whose directive is that?

it just seems kind of silly to not let people speak like adults, especially in game threads. i probably drop 40 f bombs a game in person. it's how adults deal with emotion.

MadMan, I am not a mod but I think it's more about people just stooping low and personally attacking another poster. Then that attacked poster attacks back etc etc. Maybe not the content of the posts, but it just derails the thread from the topic.

What's been said in this thread is worse than general cussing out of frustration during a game, and it distracts from the topic at hand. It has gotten personal and malicious for some.

This site is barely "policed" at all. Usually when things get out of hand. It is a public site not a paid membership for adults only.

It gets tough to have a constructive conversation after a while when you have to sift through 3 pages of insults to get to someone making a half decent point
