Mick a Candidate for UNLV?

Getting the job done on Mick's level would be very difficult. With our facilities and tradition, and a new arena on the way, it would be hard to play for ten years and not win a championship of any kind, or put players in the NBA, or drive fans away. That would be very hard to do.
What tradition are you referring to? Our dominance over C-USA? Our national championships 50 years ago? 1 final 4 over 20 years ago? Stop acting like mick has dragged our top ten, yearly sweet 16 team, down. We had a couple good years sprinkled into seasons much like now over the last 30 years. You're like the 50 year old at local football games who talks about how much better your team was and how how much better of a quarterback you were. I bet you could throw that pigskin a 1/4 mile lol you're romantic romanticising bases on a few pinnacle points to create a false reality.

It's being speculated that the thing Mick needs to stay at UC is the use of a jet for recruiting and a concrete time line for when the renovations will be complete. More money for him was not a show stopper. He is asking that these things be put in writing.

What is apparent is that when someone ask for things to be put in writing there usually is a reason. 1 such would be failure to live up to other promises. If Mick feels like he is getting the run around from Bohn in the time frame associated with when the renovations will take place it could be a reason why he is so adamant about getting it written down. Example would be locker room updates. 2. Could be this isn't the first time Bohn has told him something that didn't materialize? I don't know about you guys but my business sense is that when I need to involve lawyers and get things put in a document here is a lack of trust. Generally if I don't trust someone it's because their conduct or word has been suspect in the past.

Exactly. And there is something I don't like with Bohn. Seems like a dimwit.

100 pages of posts in less that 48 hours. 187 pages overall. The entire topic has been Mick Cronin. Still nobody banned. Will this record ever be matched again?

Legend coaching the bearcats is gaining steam... I like it.

Be sure to voice ur opinion on this to ono/bohn...

Jason if u get 2 mil a year plus 1 million from Jordan and a daily zebra ice cream cone... ill up ur payout to 13 percent.
McDonald's more your speed. But you'll be the best damn burger flipper they've ever had.

Since Cronin signed his extension:

4th place AAC
5th place AAC
^The conference that is sooooo bad.

1-4 in the postseason

8 seed
9 seed

The fact that Cronin is "holding the cards" shows that the administration has no backBohn.
^See what I did there?

But this has turned into a circus. The longer this goes, the more ridiculous it is to me that Cronin is the one making denands. I guess unless this is all him truly wanting to leave.
The university can always say no. What does that tell you?

The only way Cincinnati can ever expect better than 4th in a crap league and better than an 8 seed is if every single possible advantage is perfectly lined up for the coach. At what point do you question if that coach is really that great? Everything MUST be perfect...then, and only then, can we expect to win a single AAC Tournament game. I'd tell Cronin...you have a contract, take it or leave it. We're doing everything we can to improve the situation. You worry about winning without so many excuses. If UNLV thinks you're worth more, thanks for everything and best of luck.

Oh....I so wish they would tell him something like that. That is exactly what he deserves.

no doubt people forget huggins made it out the first weekend in ncaa 1 time in his last 9 years here with more talented teams and also worse opponents. if that doesnt show you things are different now then when huggins had his elite 8 and final 4 success then some these guys are a lost case. what dont they understand about every coach in aac even has private jets for recruiting and better facilities. this change history and even present and what not to fit the anti cronin narrative is just ridiculous at this point. i get questioning cronin but when the arguments against him are not even based in reality its hard to take that segment seriously

Some of you guys say it, others don't. We need to start winning our conference with strength. No more, if the stars align crap!

Take some pointers from great coaches and talk your athletes up and take accountability for losses. If you need help, hire it. Less talk more walk!

Mick should have been at the last radio show, period! Answer for your season and explain the hits and misses. Instead he goes on a pleasure trip/interview in Vegas. Were is the backbone there?
