She later said the MSU player just put his elbow into Brooks' chest. Neither commentator realized (view could have been obstructed) but Brooks was clearly holding his nose/face while on the ground.

Ahh, missed that. Yea from the replay it was sort of obstructed but you could easily see he got hit in the face.
