Mick getting the T. Outscored Miami by 20 points from that point on. I knew we would be OK because they were hitting a lot of shots and we were working for good shots.

Mick has the boys playing good defense and unselfish offense.

No one is saying we are top 10 good but anyone who watches this team can see we are going to be much better this year.

We are getting really good looks most of the time and forcing difficult shots.

Dion Dixon carried this team in the first half. Although the balanced scoring is good they are going to need individuals to carry them at times, especially since the set offense is inconsistant.

I agree about the T. It seemed to really wake the boys up, and get them back to their gameplan. This team impresses me more each night, and it seems like each night another player steps up to fill a void. Best game of the season for Thomas in my opinion. He actually played like a 7footer. Granted, he could have had 15-20 boards if he could hold onto the ball, but he played great tonight. Dixon was unbelievable. He was able to take the ball into the paint at will. He scored 23 points, with only one made 3pt shot. He is looking more confident with each game. The same goes for Cash with confidence. If he can play within his self, him and Dixon are going to make a great backcourt duo. I am excited about this team. Props to Cronin again.
Go Bearcats!

That's what I love about this team. With Bishop scoring 2 and Kilpatrick 0, you'd think we would be in trouble, but we have different guys capable of carrying us. And Bishop didn't let his offense affect his defense, he was lockdown in the second half after not playing much of the first half due to foul trouble.

Dion was amazing tonight. The way he finishes around the rim with his left hand is incredible. Scoring 23 while only making 1 three pointer is pretty impressive, and not to mention his 7 rebounds and 0 turnovers.

Cash, Yancy, Thomas were all solid. Still would like Ibrahima to finish better but he did give tremendous effort on the glass.

Wilks, Davis, and Jackson continue to provide energy off the bench. It's key for Larry and Darnell to play within the offense, not try to do anything spectacular, play defense, and hit the open shot. And they have been doing a good job of that recently.

I don't know how many of you were in attendance, but there was a new warmup feature tonight. When they are doing their agility exercises when they go to half-court, they would all look at Miami and scream, like AHHHHHHHH. They did it like 4-5 times and were definitely enjoying themselves. Look for it next game you attend as it was pretty humorous.

Because of the soft schedule and the team blowing out everyone they've played, we haven't seen Mick get extremely angry yet this year... unless it's slipping my mind, we haven't seen the jacket get thrown off yet, have we? I'm still waiting on that to happen. I hope a ref blows a call during the XU game and Mick goes bonkers.

Mick lost his jacket early in the Savannah State game after they went on a nice little run ending in a dunk in transition. Only reason I remember that was because I was updating my buddy on the game who couldn't watch. But yes, the Mick Cronin jacket throw is great to see.

Excerpt from ESPN article

Charlie Coles' Miami (Ohio) team has lost to four of the nine unbeaten ones left in Division I. He thinks the latest one he's seen belongs in the group.

Coles' RedHawks also have lost to Duke, Ohio State and San Diego State, three other teams that have yet to lose.

"I think they're close," Coles said. "I think they're a Top 25 team now. I think they're definitely a tournament team. Sorry Mick -- I'm putting him on the hot seat now."
