Jerry Rice is not in the arena. UC leads at the moment 37-17 in front of no more than 4,000 actual attendance.

Mooj has hands of steel on boards but is playing nice D and great timing on blocks...must learn how to get shots off in the paint with fakes

Nyarcuk is a bit clumsy and slow but serviceable backup

Gaines...obviously hasn't show Mick more than Nyarcuk but I think he may be a better fit for the pace of the game

Rubles has been VERY solid all the way around at just about everything

JJ is a rebounding beast with great hands

SK, CW, JP...no worries

Guyn is not ready to be the PG of the future just yet but good defender

Sanders is too passive and that is leading him to poor decisions

Thomas is still adapting to the speed of the game

Davis must be in the doghouse or horrible on D because I think he is more valuable than Thomas and Sanders right now

Well Coach Cronin can scratch the Gaines-Davis III-Guyn-Sanders-Thomas lineup off his possible lineup card.

Clearly neither point guard wanted to be a veteran leader. After several back to back offensive turnovers and sloppy defense - Guyn and Davis didn't regulate their own tempo but sped themselves up. Sanders....

I don't see why people prefer Guyn over Davis III.

JD3 has shown more precise passing, better decision making *at times* and more athleticism on offense. Guyn is certainly better at beating screens but Davis III has more of the "court-general" feel than does Guyn.

Like the way they spread it around. Kilpatrick was beastly, Rubles is just a good player all round, Wright and Parker were solid, Mbodj was solid(got called for some BS fouls that were blocks)I especially liked how he cleared the lane for SK's dunk on the break, Nyarsuk handled himself okay.
Jackson needs to relax and just play. He rebounds really well but makes bad decisions, fouls too much and turns it over when it's just not necessary. Guyn had some good moments, some questionable ones, I had no idea he could dunk. Sanders was a mix of good and bad, Davis made some good feeds and helped create nice plays. Thomas is learning and his potential is scary imo.
Gaines got some time and a good feed from Epp.

the future beyond this year really looks bright. rubles and thomas are players to keep a close eye on

Did anyone happen to notice the scowl on Davis face tonight? That kid was not happy about not getting in until late second half. He must be in the doghouse.

I really hope he is not unhappy because I think he's not only our next best shooting guard to SK but also our next best PG to CW. Although he did have a couple of TO's he was dribbling like a hot knife through butter tonight...and he's able to do it with his left and right hands with his head always looking up court. His outside shot is better than everyone not named SK or Wright. He makes FT's. We are going to need that offense next year. Guyn and Sanders aren't providing it...Thomas may be able to once he gets adapted.

I hope jd3 is mad as hell and pissed over not getting more pt. will make him motivated focused and hungry. Those are all good things. He is not going anywhere

Chuck and Dan on the radio were saying the coaching staff is going to mold JD3 to be the next Kilpatrick. Dont know if somebody else has more info on that

What exactly does that mean? IMO JDIII and SK are different players with different skill sets even though they are both guards.
