/2 . I have decimated Jason in countless arguments. I like his enthusiasm and passion as well but he tends to get carried away with hyperbole and exaggeration. Nothing wrong with that. But you can't take his word as gospel half the time

Again, if uc executes mick's game plans, I don't really think they will have many problems ooc.

Ok, I'll bite. 24-25 regular season wins and at least a sweet 16. I think this team has the chemistry and talent to be very good. If the center position is solid and can produce some points, rebound the ball and play solid defense I think they will be a legit top 8 team.

25 wins. 2 Big East tournament wins. At least a first round win. After that, it's a bit of a crap shoot but I certainly like our chances for the Sweet 16 again (and hopefully beyond).

Sounds just like you, except for the first sentence. It's fine to see everything through red and black colored glasses, but when you go overboard, as you always do, it invalidates any point that you try and make. Maybe you think calling Georgetown 'Whoretown', or Florida State "Florida Suck" makes you a bigger UC fan. Only thing it does is make you sound like a jackass. If that's your objective, then congratulations are in order. Does this post qualify as another ad hominey or ad grits attack against you?

Anyways, uc could be undefeated in OOC play but I think they'll drop 1 just with an off night. UC will win the big east, lose 3 games in conference and make it to finals of big east tourney before falling. 1-3 seed in NCAA tourney depending on if we get screwed

Sounds like Bearcat Mick might have some little man's syndrome. I understand, though, UC never gets any respect. That makes all of us angry. Just let the haters keep hating and our record will speak for us at the end of the year, that's the approach I take. The nice thing for us is that when we add another banner to our collection this year, we don't have to worry about getting our wins vacated someday because we have a coach that doesn't have to cheat to win (see Calipari, John), he just has an eye for talent along with some good role players. UC and Mick Cronin represent what college basketball should be, and that is what I personally take the most pride in. Go back 5-6 years ago, and it would be hard to imagine us doing this well. Can't wait for another fun year!

This team will climb in the rankings. I think 24 is too low, but it makes them more hungry.. I liked that this is Mick's favorite team. A talented,upper classmen heavy team has got to be fun to coach..

I've been saying this all summer. I will be disappointed if this team doesnt go undefeated in OOC play and run through the BE. UC has a legitimate shot of a 2-3 loss season, a 1 seed and a national championship.

I decided to take a walk down memory lane since you say you are always right. This is what you were saying all last season, didn't work out, did it? I guess you were disappointed, unless you became a U of L fan.

Ok, since Bearcat Mick is too afraid to put himself out there, I am going to predict 24 wins for this team BEFORE the Big East Tourney and NCAA Tourney. If this teams goes undefeated in out of conference play, add 2 to my total. I see two losses out of conference and 5 in conference. This assumes no major injuries.

See, that wasn't so hard. Too bad we won't see this from Bearcat Mick. After the season, we will see all the posts about how he was magically right with his predictions that he never makes. He will bet that no one remembers what he said 6 months earlier.
