It appears that Russ Smith has elected to return to school for his senior year. In his prior 3 years he has 2 BE titles, 2 Final Fours and 1 National title. Quite a career.

Probably a good move for Russ. He has his head scratch moments and he would project as a PG in the NBA which would be a problem for him and likely mean he wouldn't get drafted until the second round, if at all. Ideally for Russ, he would come back and run the point this season to prove he can do it to scouts. The problem is UL has a highly regarded PG recruit coming in and it looks like Russ won't get much time there.

I'm happy for college basketball and college basketball fans but I think it was the wrong move if he wants to play in the NBA. Much better class in next years class especially at the guard positions.

I agree but sometimes you never know. I think a lot of the "experts" thought nearly all the Kentucky freshmen would go pro and be high picks. Not the case. You never know with Freshmen.
