Can someone tell me how on earth UL is still #12??? We have basically the same resume as they do. I thought for sure they'd drop to around 19.
A lot of ranked teams lost last week, so that probably softened their fall a bit.

cbssportsline.com has them 17 in their rankings. Hope I remember that right.

They are not a top 25 team right now. The vibe of this team isn't good to me. I'm not saying they can't turn it around, but they are reeling a bit right now and searching for answers when championship teams are usually fine honing things.
I'm sure most people saw this already, but we received 20 votes in the AP poll putting us at #30. If we beat UCONN and Notre Dame this week, we would probably be ranked again. If we lose to both of them, we would probably not get any votes at all. At this point, no result would shock me.

Still receiving the 30th most votes just goes to show how many teams are struggling for consistency. With this many ranked teams losing you'd normally see more mid-majors in the polls, especially from the Missouri Valley. In the last few weeks Creighton has gone 1-3, Wichita State 3-3, and Indiana St. 2-3.
No doubt. This year is crazy. Some may call it great, some may call it awful. The fact of the matter is without a truly dominant team, any top 13 seed has a shot at Atlanta. That may be hyperbole, but you get my point.
Agreed. I think this year seeding won't matter much for UC because they can play and beat pretty much anyone. They are their own toughest opponent.
