Bill Koch's 5 part series on UC and conference realignment has been excellent. The series concludes tomorrow with a look at UC's potential in the American Conference.

i dont think bill is telling us anything we already dont know

He def isn't writing anything new. I find it comical bc the last three straight days has been a "new" article about UC and conference crap. I say "new" bc its like the same topic but a very small twist of words. How many articles can you write about, we tried to get into the acc, we will lead the aac, the acc is just a bit out of our league, UC will make the best out of their situation?!! Just another example how why the Enquirer sucks.

I don't understand the ripping of these articles. Everyone wants more UC coverage so here is some UC coverage. No its not groundbreaking, but this is a slow time of the year and any actually new conference realignment would be speculating or spreading rumors. Obviously he has not been the best at covering UC in the past, but I don't mind this effort.

It is sort of strange that those constantly complaining about lack of UC coverage by the Enquirer complain about a 5 part UC series being more of the same old same old.

Sometimes no news is good news. Whats the point of beating a dead horse? Its poor journalism. Just like today, there is another article title, UC will be the marquee program in the AAC...if the will is there. It reminds me of the menu of Taco Bell...they use the same ingreidents in every meal but just make different cominations and call it a new item.

Eh. I kind of enjoyed the articles. They maybe weren't ground breaking or had any earth shattering news in them. He did get some interviews with various people involved with the program to tell what they had to say. You could pull pieces of information from each individuals quotes to see where everyone stood. We all no that everyone abandoned us and for the time we are stuck where we are, so they didn't tell us anything new, but I thought they were a good read over the last couple days and was as interesting to me as the articles recapping the previous nights reds game. One thing I thought was interesting was seeing all the different schools in the AAC's athletic expenditures. There's a lot of schools coming in that are already spending more than what UC does on sports and it's amazing seeing UC's ability to compete with schools like Louisville and Rutgers seeing how much they pour into their athletic programs.
