I got banned by Bearcatnews because I support Mick Cronin 100%. It was that or the fact Lobot has a God complex and hates Mick.

Never became a member of BCN just read the threads. The thing about Mick for me was once he was hired some fans said bad hire and this and that. I was not one of them. You can't do that to a guy who hasnt had a chance. That is why I disagreed with what BCN had going on.

Now things are different and I feel Mick hasnt lived up to "my" expectations. However I will not be a hypocrite and cannot support BCN.

PS I saw what Lance is seeing midway through this season and that's when i realized, we need a change.

They are not an "elite" team. Honestly I dont think any of the teams left are elite.

What does it say when that player, on the bench at crunch time, doesn't appear unfazed at all about his benching, barely paying attention and giggling during timeouts, looking as if he'd been pulled out a blowout and replaced with the walk-ons?

It might say something about the coach. I think it says just as much about the player. Either way, whatever it says ain't good.

My thoughts exactly. I realize people were mad that Gates wasn't in during crunch time, but it didn't appear that Gates was one of those people. After seeing him messing around and laughing on the bench in the close game, one that he isn't being played in during the final minutes, can somewhat justify Micks decision. If you want to be a star of a team, you want to be playing during the final minutes of the game, and it didn't seem like Gates was bothered by not being played.

Uconn is a very good set of wins. I still find it funny that people were trying to argue that Uconn wasn't very good. We need to finish strong but I think it is funny that no one understood how much those wins may help us.

At the time Uconn was not a very strong team, atleast the 2nd time around. Also Calhoun just came back after missing several games.

Unlike UC most teams DO get better as the season goes on.

And now, yes those wins are key, but Uconn was not that great the 2nd time we played them.

I agree UCONN was not playing well at the time but I thought they would bounce back and they did.

I am a UC fan, UCAT, I have been sitting in the same lower arena seats at 5/3 for the now 21st consectutive season. I very much believe Mick Cronin is UC's best option. It has only been 4 years, fans expect to much to soon. The last thing I want to see is a new coach with a new 5 year rebuilding program, then 5 years later another new coach and another new 5 year rebuilding program, etc., etc. Mick has done a great job rebuilding the team, Rome was not built in a day.
