Sounds like the suspension at osu was nothing serious. (Hooking up with tutor? That's at least what I've picked up) and I believe urban was opposed to the suspension which is a good sign. He has said he is very tight with our new strength coach and coach fickel with those relationships starting at osu so he will feel comfortable here. How will he fit in the locker room? What is the reason he was suspended this year? I am excited for his on field performance, but adamant that our football players are students (in good academic standing) and good people (no moral issues or criminal activity). I wish Torrance all of the best on and off the field to get his life in good order.

The only real shot we have is Kyle trout o line man from Ohio State transferring eligible immediately two years to play as a grad transfer

I'll take as many transfers as we need with a thin recruiting class. I like the O-lineman being eligible for two years as a grad transfer, degree in four years is hard work and respected. I like LB's from St X too, coming to finish his career in front of family and friends (plus his new Bearcat family).

The big thing on judging Luke is how he improves the kids we have and recruit. Not every 4 and 5 star recruit pans out. Good coaches (and staff) develop players who may be maturing a little later in life. We have the facilities and I like all of the current players too, nothing wrong with competition to push each other to the next level....Go Bearcats!

My perspective: This is an opinion on a forum, not a rumor. However, recruiting starts and ends with relationships to coaches...if these guys open up or announce intentions to transfer, then go after them. Tampering is probably not the right word, but unless they reach out, I would suggest our staff not attempt to recruit a player on another team's roster. There has to be a rule or eight about that.

Yes Hilliard is who I was referring to. Apparently has a good relationship with LF and they over recruited the LB position like crazy and he may not see much PT.

Other name I heard is CB Norwood.

Per twitter he was behind in his school work and couldn't enroll until December and he didn't want to sit out a year. This way he can play one year at JUCO then transfer where he will have 2 years in D1

Read he was in a qb battle to start. He probably didn't like competition and I also read come December he was going to try to play for a new college because he would have his credits.
