12 games instead of 13 games.

Here is a quartile breakdown of 18/19 opponents versus 19/20 opponents based on their final NET position of the 18/19 regular season.

18/19 opponents

Q1: 2 (Ole Miss, Miss State)

Q2: 2 (Ohio State, Xavier)

Q3: 4 (George Mason, UNLV, NKU, UCLA)

Q4: 5 (NC Central, Milwaukee, Western Michigan, Ark. Pine-Bluff, SC State)

19/20 opponents

Q1: 4 (Ohio State, Xavier, Tennessee, Iowa)

Q2: 1 (Vermont)

Q3: 5 (Illinois State, Colgate, UNLV, Drake, winner/loser of Bowling Green/Western Kentucky)

Q4: 1 (Alabama State)

Wild Card: Our last OOC opponent would be in the 3rd game of the Paradise Jam Tourney. It could be Nevada (Q1), Grand Canyon (Q2), Valpo (Q3), or Fordham (Q4).

Great work from the coaching staff to put together a very competitive schedule.

Nice summary. I expect Tennessee to be considerably worse this year, after losing Grant Williams, Admiral Schofield, and Jordan Bone. Torvik's preseason ranking has them all the way down at 81, which would be a Q3 game at home. In fact, he projects only a couple Q1 games (Oh St, X) and one Q2 game (Iowa). Of course those rankings shouldn't be taken very seriously. Hopefully some teams will be better than expected.
