Daaang, I wish he would have done this in the evening so all of us with 9-5's could attend. I would have loved to go!

Interesting, I wish I could go to see what a Mick Cronin practice is like.........

I have seen (more like heard) a Mick Cronin practice and I promise it won't be like that. They practice hard and Cronin will lay into them when they don't do their job. Considering it is two days before the game, I assume it will be a walk through anyway so it should be easier for him to hold back haha.

Absolutely love the idea though; nothing wrong with a little fan friendly publicity.

this!

no way will this be a true practice. i will be there and looking forward to it regardless!

Did anyone attend this and want to share the experience?! I am just real curious on how it went. I wish Cronin would make a few practices open to fans throughout the year. It would be cool to see an inside practice.

This was a great idea. Wish it hadn't been in the middle of a work day. I would hope more things like this could be done for the fans....especially something like the old Midnight Madness events. I always thought that was a great way for fans to get behind the team early and look forward to the season starting. I never missed a single one and the fan enthusiasm was always amazing. Especially loved the dunk contests!

I went for a while on my lunch. Not a ton of people there, but pretty cool to watch. They ran normal practice stuff. Not really designed to put on a show, but it was a real practice. Mostly drills. They ran some modified form of 4 on 4 drill. They were also practicing zone D rotation/close outs and skip passes against it. Not sure if that means anything for Friday prep or if that's the standard way they practice close outs and scrambles on D (a lot of 4 on 3 stuff).

Coaches acted like you'd expect. No over the top shouting, but pretty tough on anybody who made a mistake.

I enjoyed it.

Nice! Thanks for responding. Hope they do that more often!
