Not the win we wanted on this Sunday afternoon but a win is a win. Better performance today, even if its aginst lesser competition, we still had to execute and we did.

Lol. I don't ever want to see him in over Scott ever again. Have already seen more from Scott than we've ever seen from Moore.
Yea I think he is making a statement for some of Moore's PT. It's still early but if we get some guard play we can really have a nice season.

PSU is a younger/worse team compared to RI but the 2nd half defense was questionable from a coaching perspective. Sat in the zone while RI chipped away at the lead. +12 evaporated quickly for a defensive team.

Scott may turn out to be what Clark should have been.

You can stop whenever you'd like.

Right. And anyone who knows what they're watching understands why there was criticism yesterday. And that has nothing to do with today.

Oh exactly, has nothing to do with it, not at all, absolutely right, there's no possible way we just played tighter D. Yes Rhode Island is better, no one is debating that, but our D wasn't the one problem yesterday.

All that being said; oh penn state isn't Rhode Island, well they only lost by ten to duke, we beat em by 21. I'll take it

Everyone needs to remember that Mick isn't Calipari. He doesn't get 3 McD All-Americans every year. He actually develops players, teaches team defense, and finds diamonds in the rough. Turned Kilpatrick into an NBA player. Team has some new faces and will need time to gel.

Washington needs to be 16 pts, 12 reb all year.
Evans needs to be 16 pts, 6 reb all year.
Caupain needs to be 12 pts, 6 asts all year.

Combined they need to be around 40-50 points per game. Pick up 20-30 points every night from Clark, Jenifer, Johnson, Scott, Moore, Cumberland.

First time you didn't sound like a troll. I agree with pretty much all you just said. I would have originally put Clark on instead of Washington but clear he's the real scorer down low. I still think Clark will get his as the season moves on, I see the four of them combing for close to 60 a game (if we wanna win).

We are definitely in for a nice season. Just gotta get over the hump in the biggest games. That's a big concern.

I know people are a bit concerned about Clark but I really think he will be fine. Right now he is deferring to Washington right now. He didn't have to do that with Ellis plus are guards continually miss him when he is posting up. His defense is still there and his offense will come along.

Smh. Not sure what game you were watching yesterday.

Like Jacob said we're going to win our share of games. However the losses will all be of the same type when we play good competition unless something seriously changes. Mick has a track record of it...

I almost got whiplash after reading this post. It's level headed and intelligent. Good post.

Not sure how you got here from your earlier posts, but I agree with these thoughts.

I think so to but a lot will depend on our guards. Right now other then Evans they all need work. Even he has looked indecisive at times. If they improve over the season we should be fine.
