Post Game Reflection

As my man stated above 16 missed lay ups cost us the game. Make even half of those and we win by 12.

Played like little girl after not getting POY. Seem like didn't want to play anymore didn't show any emotions and just deferred to teammates.

Yeah, he scored a measly 18 points on 6-13 from the field (3-6 from 3) pretty terrible. SK struggled with turnovers because he is pretty much our whole offense. Guyn and Caupain had turnover problems, so SK was a primary ball handler far too many times, out of necessity. He showed more maturity this season, especially late in the year, by improving his shot selection and efficiency.

Troy Caupain and GG neither one had a turnover. They put the ball in SK's hands so he could get touches. And he and JJ had 8 of the 11 turnovers. SK 5 and JJ 3. Without SK where would we have been? But he was loose with the ball.

Was scoring 25+ before not being named POY. 18 isn't bad but its below his average still.

I meant this season in general. GG and TC had turnover problems this season. SK isn't really known as a good ball handler, but I think we had to go through him because he was our only consistent scoring option. Say we still had Cash, there is no way SK handles the ball as much as he had to this season.

Maybe a better question is how many times could we have dunked and deferred to a double clutch lay up?
Jeff, if you were coach how many times could you allow a player to do this? I said 3wks ago Mick just needed to practice dunks at practice. Seriously I've NEVER seen Guyn dunk.

I'd rather he make 6-13 and score 18 than jack up stupid shots that aren't there because he is being closely guarded. Last year, he would just shoot it without even thinking. This year, he really improved his selection, and it paid off.

Why didn't Shaq handle ball? Can't recall him having to many TO's. Sad to say it but not having Davis hurt us bad.

What do u want him to say? That he thinks he'll suck? LOL Lawrence played out of position by necessity this season. I don't think we got a good read on what he'll be.

I want him to say"we'll see...if he works hard and gains strength he could be a good player" - not that he's going to be the best player on the team. That just has no credibility based on what any of us saw. I hope Mick is right - I'm just tired of players being talked up who are not all that

After this season, I have no idea what kind of basketball player Jermaine Lawrence is. What is he good at? What are his strengths? Where does he belong on the floor as far as offense? None of those questions were remotely answered.

BIG TIME PLAYERS SHOW UP IN BIG TIME GAMES. Should've went 12-23 then. You can't lose without JJ fouling out or SK not shooting ball 20x or more.

At least he didn't go with one of his Seniors. I see Shaq ball hogging next year so I look for him to make biggest improvement.
