When Ellis got ejected I cracked my rum and closed this board, I am now back drunk happy and with zero energy. This team is so tough it is incredible!!

I hope that Ellis can come back with sincere apologies and be given retribution from cats fans...we have NO chance verses UK without his defense.

DeBerry played his tail off. He was exhausted and still made plays. Good for him to step up, because we needed every second of it.

That octeus is a good player. I wish Hammons would have chose UC. We need more beef in terms of our big men. Big kudos to Deberry. I love how he knows how to use his size to his advantage. I mean that layup he made, wrap around the hoop with one hand...that was sick.

Dude played his heart out. Big ups to him

Its been so long since this kinda game ended with me being a happy camper. Ended their 1st round win streak and have achieved a first round win despite being a very young team Im so proud of the toughness. 7 down with under a minute to go and ended up winning. That's heart and nothing but heart. Honored to be a bearcats fan tonight(well, aside from the whole ellis thing)

Regarding Ellis, he's been this way all season. Loads of talent, but he's such a hot head.

I don't expect to beat Kentucky. I think we have the ability to keep it close with Uk for 30-35 minutes, but fully expect to lose by at least 10. But you know what? It's the NCAA tourney and strange things happen. I'll be cheering for UC all the way.

Maybe Ellis will throat punch for few UK players before our game with them. That should help us right?

Ellis owes this team everything he has Saturday. They'd better have to carry him off the court from exhaustion. He should also carry Corontae's bags all year next season because HE EARNED IT on the court.

What a time for Caupain to step up. Lessons from a season learned well that he can carry into next year.

KJ finally showed up late in the game. Guys didn't always make the skilled play (missed layups anyone?) but they collectively decided they weren't going to lose the game without attacking the rim. It was beautiful to watch.

And fellas, every Bearcat fan should celebrate because we freaking deserved one!!!! All the heartbreak we've experienced finally came around a little bit. That was beautiful. Congrats to the kids because they're the ones that played their hearts out.

They only can play 5 at a time. Might have to start DeBerry and Ellis(if eligible) for game won't start 18-4
