How good is Jermain Sanders? A big bodied guard out of NYC should be making an impact, at some level. Is it a confidence issue, or just an overall talent issue?

How good is Shaq Thomas? We need that atheltic wing that can run the floor like a deer. IMAC, James White, Pete Micheael, all of those players could do that. Is Shaq that type of player?

Two to three years ago, Jeremiah Davis was a up and coming five star recruit, what happened?

In the long run, this team will be better for the mess that took place on Saturday. I would love to see Mick try Jaquan Parker back at the point, just like his frosh year.

These are all legitimate questions...

This year has not gone in any way, shape or form how it was planned...

These next few games will be very interesting to see what the new comers can do. Its time to see what JD and Sanders have to offer. Big time minutes coming their way.

as for J Davis, he was considered a point guard prospect his sophomore and junior year, and then steadily people realized he was more of a combo than a pure point. since he wasnt a great scorer and was no longer considered a pure 1- he dropped significantly.

I guarantee you Shaq can get up and down the court. He's like a gazell and by the time his team gets the rebound he is at mid-court. I think he could struggle in half court sets though.

Sanders has looked pretty bad since I first saw him at DSL, however, his last couple games he has showed some promise.

I still like JD. He likes to run and is a good passer but I think he is struggling in the half court game now. He has a good looking shot but so far he hasn't been making them. I think he'll be an asset over the next few year.

I'm not overly concerned for the future. I think this is most talented freshman corps that Mick has brought in. Good, solid four-year guys that you can win with. They don't exactly hang recruiting banners at Marquette and they consistently win in the BE. I see the future of the UC program along those same lines.
