It is almost Wednesday thank jeebus, after a long break the Cats should be well rested and ready to ball. It is always hard to beat a team twice in this league and Rutgers is itching for a win. I think its the same game plan as last time, contain RU's two guards and we will be more than alright. Our defense should be nasty with our fresh legs. Offensively.....well that is another story and I think RU is going to pack it in pretty good and make us shoot a lot of jumpers. I would really like to see us get some transition points of their turnovers. This should be the start to a good winning streak, no reason why this team isn't focused, they have March Madness on their minds and it starts tomorrow.

66-55 UC.

Both our defense and our offense will be "nasty" as always!!!

Hopefully the time off has helped Cash and any others who might have some injuries. I'm going with 60-52 win for the Cats. Might come out a little rusty but they should take control down the stretch.

With the crazy last couple of weeks of the Big East, no game can be taken for granted.

True statement. I think this team has come back down from their high and realize to only look at the schedule one game at a time.

Im not sure if the student section has sold out but I know its close to being at capacity as usual. I hope people show up and cheer this team on. That said I think we come out rusty at first but get it together. Hopefully we take what we did against Cuse of passing the ball to the interior to get good looks on the outside and apply it to this game.

UC 66
RU 58

Agree 100%

Three things I'll be watching for:

1) Cash's knee and how he's moving laterally and his quickness.

2) The offense. I felt they were making some strides prior to the break. With time for individual drills and shooting, I want to see how things flow and how sound they look fundamentally. Especially interested in how they may incorporate high post offense and how the bigs look finishing. I hope they ran a drill where they ran every time they failed to dunk the ball in close.

3) Intensity. Mick said he wants to play this game like it's the national championship. This is a game at home that frankly the Bearcats should win. No 20-22 point halves are acceptable.

this game really shouldn't be close, but I don't remember the last time we blew a big east team out at home so with that in mind

uc 67
Rutgers 58

UC by 15.

This team saw what its capable of in the second half of that Syracuse game. It translates over to the best 40 mins of basketball we have seen this year.

UC should win but it is a Big East game, anyone in the Big East can beat anyone in the Big East.
