Plenty of time? It happened with 4 seconds left. USF had been unable to get a shot up that wasn't at the end of the shot clock for 6 minutes.

He got the ball at around 12 seconds and was downhill all the way. It's the exact same thing he'd been doing the last 4 minutes and not succeeding at. He had at least one guy wide open for a kickout.
