Hey bro, its an inside joke for a few folks on this board. Quadri = Rusty. Get out the WD 40. Hes the Tinman out there on the court
I think Washington could use some oil in all his leg joints. Who runs like that? Who cares...if he can score

That's a nascar driver. If you're gonna come here to just hate on the team at least try and know what you're talking about.
Ha! The board lightens up a little bit. It is hysterical how K Wash runs. Like an akward ostrich.
Interesting that someone mentioned we shot 15% above our average for the year last night...but I think we are something like 43% in conference and over the last 7 games now (we can add Troy in) Caupain, KJ, and Cumberland are shooting 50% from deep. That's more than double their % in the first 9 games. Troy has been shooting much better from 3. The 3 guys we need knocking down 3's are absolutely killing it lately.
Apparently he learned it from watching Octavious Ellis run up and down the court last season.
Great post!!! If we win the NCAA he will be singing the same tune. Lol!!!You guys are ridiculous. You're actually making an argument that this team is successful despite Mick. Mick built this team. He coaches these kids on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
I think it's perfectly fair to say that this substitution should have been handled differently or we should've played more zone or whatever.
But I've got news for you guys who constantly rip on Mick. When the team is really talented, is ranked, has a top 50 (ish) offense and a top 5 defense, and is 14-2 - that all exists because of Mick - not despite him.
It might be time you rethink your "Mick sucks" narrative, but your arguments are looking more pathetic all the time.
Hence, my original post... Coaching at that level is extremely easy.He really needs someone to handle substitutions for him. Anyone on this board would do a better job...
Our execution certainly could have been better. Trying to run clock and and make a basket is very hard for this group. SK usually could get to the rim or draw a foul. If this team has a weakness it is not having that guy who can take you off the dribble and either create or draw a foul. Evans is the guy I want with the clock running down in that spot but last night he had a off night and he is still developing that part of his game. From all that I hear next year Broome is a guy who can get that done.To me the thing that needs improving is closing out the halves. UC did not close out first half with a missed 3 and then giving up a layup. Also UC had 64 points with 4 mins to go and ended up with 66. With senior guards that should not happen. I believe there were 2 shot clock violations and one was on a layup by troy, how does that happen? KJ made his first 3 shot and was 0fer the rest of the game, he did not score after about 10 minute mark in game.
4-0 in first place and arguably the best team in the league. Road wins against Houston and Temple and we held serve against SMU. Our starting 5 has been effective and the bench has had opportunities to grow and has taken advantage of it. We still have room to improve. Really like what coach has put together.
17 points in the last 14 and a half minutes.
Yes, but we hardly got any shooting fouls all game. Couldn't get a call under the hoop.

The officiating wasn't great but it was pretty consistent. Unlike Butler where it was very lopsided, for the most part they called the same stuff both ways last night. With the exception of the missed call on Evans, I'd say the zebras were ok last night. I didn't really notice them much which is always a good thing.
