Against a 2nd round draft pick in Milton, jenifer more than held his own. He took care of the ball and played great defense. That was an under the radar good performance.

Turn it down, Cumberland is an important part to our team. These kind of games are important for him to get back. He's missing shots but I don't see where you think he is so horrible. He's playing good defense, he's still a threat on offense and teams close on him, he makes good passes. And perfect from the line even if it is 4-4 it's a start
Never once said he was horrible. Absolutely love him. Not knocking him for missing shots either, giving the ball up would have put more than one of our players on bench. We need Cumberland, he had a nice game. Just wanting him to do what he good at. Wondering why some guys are more likely to hit bench when giving ball away. Remember I'm not taking about missing shots. Another great win. Go bearcats

I think if Cumberland was playing well consistently, he would get pulled for stuff like that, but with his current funk, I think he's getting s longer leash right now to build him back up. Just a confidence thing I think.

you are right. We need him. Mick knows that.

So Tre Scott said take that haters

Great game from him

I was very happy to see that. He does a lot of little things well. He's always getting a body on someone and positioning around the rim to rebound. Good passer, I'll be interested to see how he does facing up and operating in the high post over the next 2 years. That's where he is best imo.

Cumberland moves like a NBA 2k player most of the time.

I grew up playing as a very deliberate player. Not being as athletic doesn't mean you're bad. He knows where to get to on the court to get his best shot, unfortunately it just hasn't been falling. He's still been getting his shots though and that's how I know it'll change

Kenpom has only Virginia rated better. Seeing what they did to North Carolina yesterday I'd tend to agree, but there is no question UC is elite.

A UC-UVA NCAA tournament game would be simultaneously ugly and beautiful.

I think we would win that game, I feel like Virginia gets the extra media live from being in the ACC. We are usually very similar to them, and in the past I'd given them a better rating on offense, but this year I think we are much more well rounded. That being said, no way is that happening lol

I think we are better than Virginia also. They are good but aren’t as good as they’ve been the last couple years. Also Kenpom tends to love slower paced defensive teams also. Virginia is always near the top.

SMU has some good players and I fully expect them to be a force at their place, but the difference between our frontcourts is massive this season.

Chargois went for 12 against Arizona, 21 against Western Kentucky, 21 against TCU, 16 against Boise State, and we really made him look like true freshman tonight.

Ben Moore and Semi Ojeleye gave us nonstop fits last season and SMU is really missing their size and versatility in the post.

Obliterated. I knew Cincy's defense was going to be tough, but it was overwhelming. We only have 3 guys returning from last year's team, the rest are freshman and transfers. We haven't seen a swarming, athletic, fast defense like that and it was clear. Good win for you guys.

Clearly Cincy and Wichita State are 1-2 in the conference this year. Everyone else is 3-4-5. That game is going to be a rock fight.

In the meantime, stay healthy and we will see y'all at Moody!
