I'm going to walk around the neighborhood screaming "LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO".

I'm not sure why, but I think we are going to jump all over SMU today. That flies in the face of recent experience - on the road, SMU etc. - one would expect a slow start, rock fight game, UC pulls ahead midway through 2nd half etc.

I just think they shift into March madness gear today....Lotsa minutes for subs.

From everything I've seen on Shake, I would be shocked if he plays today.

Looking at their season I would say playing him now would be foolish especially if he isn't a 100%. Let him heal and go all in for the conference tourney. I reallly don't think if they won today they could make the dance without winning the conference title.

This game hinges on how well we shoot it from deep.

SMU will run zone exclusively. Should keep us out of TO problems but at the same time, we will need Kyle & Gary to step out and open this defense up.

Also, they shoot 43% from 3 at home and even without Foster & Shake, they still have Ben E., McMurray, & Chargois who can really shoot it. Getting Emelogu in early foul trouble would be real nice.


Big factors in the game:

• The refs: do they swallow their whistle for SMU?
• How well can we shoot from 3?
• The pace; we need to push it, they wanna play cave man ball
• Protecting the 3 point line; its an absolute must.
• Killing the hometown crowds hopes early
