Because you post is meant to incite not to inform or spark intelligent conversation. Every point you made in the above post was beyond wrong. Sorry if that is a bit harsh.

Again his post had 2 very valid points. 1) Mick hasn’t played Logan Johnson enough 2) Jenifer often is terrible against high level competition. I’m not sure a senior PG like Jenifer needed 29 minutes agains that team.

Trevor needs to keep shooting...

Watch him in pre game. He makes everything. All confidence.

He needs more than that to get right. I was glad he shot so much, I was extremely disappointed in his demeanor. He was energetic and a great teammate last year. This year he has ZERO emotion. He made a 3 and looked relieved. Get excited young man! We need your energy and your shot. It’s ok to be happy when you make a play.

This site has out lived it's enterainment value. You and him couldn't lead a pack of piss ants to water let alone tell Mick how to develop his team. Have a nice day.

Huh? So you think playing Jenifer 29 minutes was a smart move?

This is what your trying to defend.

Cronin blew it. He should have used this pre-conference schedule to develop LoJo even if it meant taking losses. Jennifer is not the answer. He folded against Mississippi State and will continue to do so against high major competition. Meanwhile LoJo is a transfer candidate. This game shows the team has not developed at all this season. The starters let one of our weakest opponents claw their way back to within striking distance and had they been a decent team they would have won.

That was his post. Here is a breakdown of his post.

1. Even if it meant taking losses.

2. Jenifer has played extremely well. Shooting over 40% from 3. He has 53 asst. to 6 TO's on the year. He did not fold against Mississippi st.

3. LoJo is a transfer candidate.

4 this team has not developed. This team has beat most everyone's expectations to this point.

The starters played below their capabilities coming off a outstanding performance against UCLA and looked disinterested and ready for the Xmas break. They were never in danger of losing this game.

His take was BS.

Without attending practices or understanding what Mick was trying to accomplish I am not in a position to question his use of playing time. His trying to vilify Mick for his use of Logan is ridiculous.

Please feel free to put me on ignore. We have nothing further to discuss.

Yeah I said there was a lot wrong with his post. But ok, I am concerned about Jenifer holding up against high level completion but I have to admit he is making good decisions (though I still hate walking the ball up a lot) and his shooting has been really, really good. He give us the best shot against the best teams this year.

I was just hoping that especially against SC State Logan Johnson would get more time. I thought the first half was great and expected more of the same. He’s going to have to play big minutes next season, hopeful he get time on the floor and since he’s a freshman I prefer it be against SC states of the world for a little while.

Did you listen to Micks postgame yesterday? Part of the game plan yesterday was to allow the players to do the coaching. His way of getting them to think and not just react. I'm paraphrasing but it was a very unique concept. As he put it he was allowing the players to find answers rather then telling them to attack this or that. After I heard that I thought Mick was much more subdued yesterday then previous games.

Logan will be fine next year. It will be his team to run. Mick has to do what is best for this years team. Bunch of other guys on this team trying to have a great season. Logan has seen the floor quite a bit. What's important is the team and this season.

I think uclawrugby is either a friend or family member of LoJo. Everyone of his posts are bashing Mick for not playing and developing Johnson as he is the only player capable of making this team win in March.

I’m pretty excited about this kid. I think he will help us win in March as soon as next year.

I think it's a reasonable argument about lojo. If you look at what we are losing this year and what the expectations are why not give him some extra minutes as the season goes on (if we start stumbling) and get him and the team ready. However, if we can exceed expectation and it looks like we can make the tourney and win a game or two leave Jennifer with the minutes. But I don't think lojo deserved more pre conference minutes because why give up the season before we know if we were decent or not.

So glad I was able to spur discussion and that you got my points. Thanks.

While there is a lot wrong with that post. I’m surprised that any Bearcat fan would be happy with Micks use of Logan so far. I really thought this was the game he’d finally stop being such an idiot with high potential freshman, but he doubled down. Johnson had 7 rebounds in the first half for the love of all things holy and then barely played in the second half. Seemed like instead of using the minutes for guys like Johnson, mick was punishing the starters for their lack of effort by making them keep playing.
This is what I have been harping on since I went to the first exhibition game and noticed LoJo was by far the best player on the Court with the possible exception of Cumberland but with more potential. LoJo could contribute heavily this year but is not set up to do so now because of Cronin.

Do you really need to be this rude? It’s only basketball. Take a pill or something.

i would say its a little weird this game was the most minutes jenifer played in a game this season.

not that anybody else deserves the minutes, just usually these aren't the games your sr starters log those kinds of minutes.

Especially when it seemed like our subs gave us a jump start in the first half. We had a 21 point lead at the end of the first half and that is what it ended at.

This was a perfect game to sit the "non interested" players for several reasons. They were not effective. We need to get other players experience. Cronin would have been able to use the bench to remind starters they can't take games off. etc etc

Everyone could have seen 20 minutes in this game and the result would likely be the same or even better. Missed opportunity IMO but I don't call the shots.

remember. Cronin recruited him here to UC when no big schools in the west looked at him and that is with his brother in the NBA. ESPN gave him only two stars. Something to think about. Seeing how good he is the whole situation is strange.
