Games is Thursday night at 8 on CBSSN

South Florida is 5-18 and 2-8 in the AAC. They have won their last 2 AAC road games (@Houston and @Tulane)

South Florida is #240 in KenPom...#295 in AdjO, #172 in AdjD, and #273 in AdjT.

I'm guessing we'll be -21. No bs this time. They have no guard play. No reason why we can't run them out of the gym. Last year we only beat them by 5 at home (63-58). This should be a much more comfortable win.

South Florida 56

They have size. They also have a lightning quick PG. they played temple tough losing by 7 on Sunday. Hope the Cats have a 1 game at a time mentality and go take care of business and bring home a win. Can not afford to look past any Team.

Important to keep the momentum up and control this game for 40 minutes.

Would like Evans to shoot well. He's 16-47 FG and 3-20 from 3 in 2016. We all know he's a better shooter than that. Time for him to get back on a roll.

From a scoring perspective, we just need to keep the ball our of Jamal McMurray's hands.

Scored 23 and 30 @houston and @Tulane And 16 on us the first time.

Also I thought Chris Perry was really good against us and UCF when I watched that game a few weeks ago.

BUT I noticed that Perry hasn't played the last 3 games for USF, I wonder if he is out against us as well??

**EDIT** Just read the Perry was suspended for an unspecified time period.

Really excited for the games this week. Hopefully we come out 2-0 and keep pressure on the rest of the conference. Cats are starting to find themselves and the UCONN game may be the thing that gives them the edge. Finally catching a break sometimes acts as a jump start for teams.

Should handle the USF but the quick turnaround and playing Memphis away won't be easy. My expectation was to run the table. We have 1 down and 9 more to go.

Quick turnaround is tough but Memphis has the same 2 day turnaround, but with a much tougher opponent tomorrow.

Last game against S Fla we took 10 more FG, shot 11 more FT, hit 3 more 3s, out rebounded them by 4, had an 11/10 AST/TO vs 6/18 for them, doubled their steals, and had 4 less fouls...and they had a 3 in the air to tie it. How in the world did that happen?

Full week off and at home where we've shown to be a very good offensive team. That line should probably be -21.

Any news if Shaq Practiced yesterday?

Cronin advised that if he practiced he could play but if he doesn't will likely miss next 2 games.

Really need him vs Memphis.

Hoping that he was ok Yesterday and today and then still sits out tomorrow but plays on Saturday. He was at his best in the fast paced Memphis game

Cincinnati's Shaquille Thomas (foot) will be a game-time decision for Thursday's game against South Florida, Mick Cronin told @CBSSports.

Need to guard the whole game and hit some shots. Would like to see us continue to push the rock and be aggressive

Yea, I hear you Jake. But after watching KY blow a 21 point lead and lose to Tenn I'm not taking anything for granted.

Yeah we almost blew a 14 pt lead @S Fla. And last year we were up like 28-12 or something and almost blew it against them.
