don't think we cover 14.5 but I do think we win by 10 or more.

I don't see Temple getting out of the 50's against us. I'd love to score in the 70's as that would almost assuredly mean we win comfortably. However, Temple doesn't turn the ball over much and they play at a slow pace, so I think we'll struggle to pull away.

I'd just like to see us work the ball inside more and not settle for jump shots. I'll be there rooting them on.

Any word on the likely attendance? A sell out would obviously be great, but I'd hope we can at least get 12k like last week.

We'll see.

Go Cats!

They haven't played anyone on the road in conference to under 14 points with an average loss of -17. At home they are much better. Haven't lost to anyone by more than 6 (UC) and they won one game by 19 (ECU)...so they are +3.66 at home average. Based on that I would hope we can beat them by 15+ at our place tonight.

I know it doesn't work that way...but should be doable

They definitely seem to be a Jeckyl & Hyde squad.

I hope you're right and we win going away.

Can't wait.

l'll be happy if we win the game, Stay healthy and play inside out. Coach was very put out by our lack of throwing the ball to the post last game. I expect to see a heavy emphasis on that this game.

Temple won't be able to stop us if we play right.

DeCosey definitely graduated last year guys. I believe he is currently playing pro ball in Italy right now

Hope your right Jake!

I worry about our mentality for these kind of games. Caupain was flat out saying we knew we weren't going to blow out SMU. It almost becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. My only concern for this game is our perception of Temple. Talent wise, we should kill them. But I worry that we have it in our heads that it is impossible to beat them by a lot so we need to get ready to play all halfcout and grind it out in the 50s. I hope that's not the case tonight. Shouldn't be too much to ask for our veteran team to just go out and play their asses off for 40 minutes and let the score fall as it may. I'm torn between expecting a 75+ point performance and an impressive win, and a 57-53 rock-fight where we all have a bad feeling deep down about where we're headed. I'm going to stick with hoping we beat them down until I see otherwise.

After the ECU game I don't expect to come out flat. Kyle only played 18 minutes last time against Temple...he's gonna be ready. We shot 33% last time out and beat them by 6.

Since I'm missing the game, does anyone know a way I would be able to watch the game later? I assume it wouldn't get re-aired, but didn't know if maybe it'd show up on any Roku app or what have you.

I am not sure..but if you find out let me know.. I might missing the game Saturday.

After listening to the Cronin pre game it sounds like getting the ball in the paint is going to be priority number 1 (after effort related things of course). I agree we miss way too many entry passes and that is what ends up making us a perimeter passing team. I think guys like Evans, Cumberland and Troy are the best at entry passes. We get stuck with KJ a lot (historically) because he's not very good at it...he's getting better.

We can't pass up opportunities to get the ball on the block. We often wait too long to look for the post up guy and the opportunity passes. We need guys who can see it before it happens. Hopefully a little emphasis on this will go a long way. It will open up shots on the perimeter as well. It wouldn't hurt to get some slashing going on too...but one step at a time.
