That reminds me of a story:

A few years ago a good friend of mine was sitting in a sports bar in Norwood wearing a UC football jersey. Some X board of director-type guys came in for a drink, see the jersey, and start privately (but not quietly) putting down UC and the quality of its education. At the time my buddy was probably 35, and sitting there on a Saturday afternoon he looked like your average easy target for some suits. The X dudes figured to have some fun, so one of them got my friend's attention and loudly asked what he did for a living.

He turns to them as says "I'm a patent attorney".

After a moment or two of surprise (and probably disbelief), one asks, "and how do you become a patent attorney?"

He says, "Well, first you have to get an engineering degree, which you can't get at Xavier. And then you need a law degree, which you also can't get at Xavier."
One of the greatest posts ever!

Well done!

I guess it must be Xavier week lol! Too funny. It's already started at work. We better win! We are at home, and have a stacked team. Man I miss the days when we used to beat them every year.

Good game the other night, we played well in the second half and the offense showed it still has a little bit of punch when needed. This team is good at taking care of the business it should, no bad losses yet.

Yep. No bad losses and neither one of the losses were a$$ kickings. Something has to be said for us being in every game we play. A lot of college teams would've taken bad losses to Samford or Marshall (based on how those games were going), but we're mature and focused enough to receive a wake up call in-game. It's a positive factor when it comes to watching our games/being excited in the next one.

It's our great defense IMO. I still worry about our ability to win big games against teams that can score but so far we've been able to do what we need to do to avoid any resume killing losses.
