I’ll take a win anyway they can get it, on the road, against the better league teams.

Been watching a lot of aac teams, not impressed at all with SMU or UCF. If we still had Huggins at the realm, I would be terrified of Temple, they are better than the last three losses and will be in desperation mode to get a win. Think we're a better team than them though. Only teams I see that can compete with us are Wichita State and Houston. Really think the voters got it right about us winning conference regular season. Hope I'm right, go bearcats..

Temple got off to a hot start last year and were 9-4 when we visited them in Philly. We squeaked out an ugly win and they went on to lost 6 of their next 7, which essentially ended their season.

This year's team is definitely better. We can't let Rose and Alston catch a scoring rhythm. If we come out flat on offense like we did versus Memphis, this Temple team has the weapons to make us pay.

Think we are better than them? Lol.. temple is scrappy and we've struggled there in the past. I'm not too concrete though. Like you said not too many teams gonna give us a hard time this year.

Scouting Temple:
KenPom: #72
Kp Off rank: #50
Kp Def Rank: #133

This is a Tier A Kenpom game and winning on Thurs would be a chance to go 2-2 in our Tier A games. In my opinion it won't be easy. Temple is coming off 3 straight losses including a home loss to Tulane. Temple has a lot of talent that just seems to have trouble putting it together night in and night out. I never want to play a team with talent at home who is on a 3 game losing streak. Its a must win for UC. If we lose, I don't expect us to be ranked for a good while after. They played Houston really tough in Houston but UH out rebounded them 42-27. If we do anything close to that and make some shots, we should walk away with a win

Keys to win:
Execute good offense on the road
Take advantage of Temples bad rebounding
Force Temple to Turn the ball over
Defend the 3 point line
Shut down Quinton Rose

If we guard and don't turn the ball over I like our chances. We have enough weapons on offense to score enough to beat them if we don't help them by giving the ball away.

They are still the only team to beat Auburn & top 25 Clemson

They have played 8 games against top 100 teams (5-3)

They have played only 5 home games (strangely enough, lost one of them to Tulane....the other was Villanova)

Taking them for granted is a huge mistake

They've lost 3 straight and at home against Tulane bc they suck. Showing the nation that they suck again isn't s reason for me to be afraid of losing to them.

If we lose to Temple. We have major issues.

I wouldn’t freak out if we lost to temple in terms of what it means about UC.

We never play well in philly. They always seem to make it a grinder and until we prove we can win a grinder without Troy Caupain, I have some concern.

But I won’t be worried about the actual team. Losing in philly to desperate team who has talent isn’t the worst thing in the world.

Temple lead at the half @Houston. Both teams took the no defense approach in the first half.

Im watching it now.

Temple can score. Josh brown has nice floater. Quinton rose is showing he is a good shooter but Obi is just blah. He is a senior who makes rookie mistakes all game and is a softy inside.

UC needs to attack the basket and also feed clark and Washington. They can't stop us down there

I think end of a close game is still something we have to see but overall we win if we play our game. I think if this team controls turnovers we are hard to stop. We are generally going to rebound and play D. Even on a cold shooting night we can beat most teams like temple with effort related stats and keeping turnovers to 12 or less.
