If he was walking just fine during the Memphis game I am sure it was just precautionary because we didn't feel we would need him. He was dressed so he may have been on call if things got close who knows. Based on this information I think he should be ready tomorrow.

Obviously if the ankle is still sore I would keep him out.

I didn't see a pair of games shorts on Cane when he was warming up. He went to shoot the ball at halftime warmups and faked it, and gave it to Jarron.

I don't want to risk too much with Cane but at the same time we need the time on the court together with the other starters for chemistry and continuity reasons. We are getting close to half way through the season. If we are going to play Cane more minutes coming down the stretch we need the other players to figure out his tendencies before then.

The other players are very familiar with Jenifer. There isn't a lot of guesswork when he is in. He plays it safe and runs the offense. He's not really pushing the envelop. The game is different when Cane is in and the other players need to figure out where to be when he is on the move and be ready for passes they aren't used to.

I don't know...they could be the 3rd worst team in conference based on what we saw the other day. They looked awful. We had something to do with that but still...they are not good.

They are definitely better than South Florida

We have a better team with better personnel. I really have a hard time handicapping a game with the thought that a reason this might be a tough spot is because Temple has lost 3 straight. They have lost 3 straight because the have played poorly

Oh I can't wait for some new plays when the time is right. I hope this isn't just coach speak and he really does have a few tricks up his sleeve. My guess is there aren't a lot of those tricks revolving around Jenifer. When you have a guy like Cane running around making the defense move you can really start to get creative and develop some nice bail out options.

We might see a few more corner 3's and hopefully a lot more pick and roll stuff. Maybe a few more alley oop plays etc. The potential is there for some of those exciting plays that get the fans out of their seat and give us that 6th man crowd advantage when we need it.

I really like where Cronin is at, for the most part, when he talks about being ready for anything in any game and not needing extra motivation. If you are ready to play 40 minutes of basketball it doesn't matter if they have won or lost 3 in a row or if we are home or on the road. If they are ranked #1 or #350.

Play D. Get rebounds. Take care of the ball. If you shoot horrible and they shoot great...those are the breaks. Do the other 3 things in every game and we can take home some hardware...or banners.

One thing is for sure...I don't worry about Gary Clark doing a lot of these things very well. I think we need to just suit him up next year and hope nobody notices...lol!!

Sure. They played poorly but they have the ability to play really damn good too.

Sure. We have the better players, and in a bubble I'd say we win by 10+.

But I'm just factoring how we play normally against Temple.

I mean Temple was nowhere near as talented as they are this season and yet we had to grind them to victory.


In this game I want to see us Run Run Run Run. Temple is listed as an Average team in Transition but against half court set defences they are really good.

i mean there are 2 sides to that. from here on out its unlikely broome, jenifer, and washington combine to shoot 41.7% which is where they sit now. all of them will likely regress.

Kyle is shooting well for a big and does so in moderation, Gary can hit them and it helps spread out the D and Jenifer is shooting 40%. I’m ok with anyone but Keith shooting them

Agreed. Jennifer is interesting to me because his percentage is good but has some really ugly misses still.
