I still 100% believe we are elite 8 good. We will make it to the sweet sixteen almost for sure IMO. And I'd say at best FF. Same as I thought before. We didn't even have one of our biggest catalysts in the game today and you are basing how good we will be in march off this game? Cumberland played a lot better down the stretch last year too, or were we playing too good at that point for you to pay attention?

Our "biggest catalyst" is being hampered by the head coach, if he plays 30MPG and is effective then everything changes. But Mick is hard headed and would rather prove his point than win a game. And yes, as a season ticket holder, I was there for the rise of Cumberland. Just as I've been there for his disappearing act.

Sporting News has Jacob Evans mocked in the first round of the draft this year. That shot was first round material. Awesome.

Not to sour the mood after a huge win but is anyone else concerned about our bench after tonight's performance? Moore wasn't given much of a chance to get in the game offensively but Scott and Williams really looked out of sorts. Brooks gave us some decent cover but offensively he still leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm in South Dakota just unplugged my phone from the radio and on come 700 wlw. That's what I'm talking about lol

Evans hit the shot but we are nowhere close to the point without Washington. Absolutely willed us to victory.

he was the only one that scored from the 18 minute mark to the 7:30 mark.

I thought Brooks played tough. Broome coming back will be huge.

no they are exactly what we should have been expecting, this was not surprising. kyle and gary both can't get in foul trouble in the future.

Just think it was a bad overall game for everyone except for Washington really. Evans and Clark stepped up in the end, but for a majority of the game most of the team really didn't play very well. I'm not concerned at all about Moore or Williams.

Gotta give it up for the players defensive intensity down the stretch. Temple's last made FG came at the 5:16 mark. The second to last came at 7:13. Aside from that bad foul call on Alani Moore's 3 point shot, we damn near held them scoreless for quite some time.

Wow didn't realize that. Huge.

That's 3 top 50rpi wins, 2 of them on the road, one on neutral court. Plus Mississippi State creeping into top 50 soon, hopefully. That will be 4. Not to shabby. Plus neutral win against top 75 Wyoming. Schedule ending up being not as terrible as what was first thought.

also gotta give a shoutout to jenifer, while he may have struggled the last 35 minutes, he was the only one ready to go out of the gate with 7 points and an assist on a washington 3 in the first 4 and a half minutes. without building that little lead we might not have been able to keep it close with clark and kwash on the bench for so long in the first.

If you base our season every year on how we play @ Temple you would expect us to go below 500 every season..It’s one of those games every time that no matter what the score is, win and move on

lets have Evans shoot the technicals in the future

i know what their percentages are on the season, but also know their careers and evans is just the better FT shooter.
