Rumors that the conference may not be as good this year seem to have been greatly exaggerated.

Georgetown goes on the road to beat number 8 Missouri.

Could have 4 of RPI top 5 ha

I really like the Georgetown team. You better guard them on the perimeter or they'll make you pay.

Think about this. Kemba Walker almost came to UC and he scored 30 last night. Ricardo Ratliffe scored 22 and all Jason Clark did was hit a 3 to send the game to OT and three more in OT to help secure the Georgetown win. Mick has been so close on landing some major talent. Where would this program be if a couple close calls had come thru?

Add Thabeet, Scotty Hopson and Willie Warren to that list. He almost landed all those guys when we had nothing to offer. I think we will be getting some elite talent if we can make a couple nice runs.

Wright hit the 3. Clark made the pass, which was heady.

Must guard C.Wright, A.Freeman and J.Clark on the perimeter. Those 3 are deadly and will absolutely crush you. G'town's weakness is in the paint. Sims is a nice athlete, but they lack a good big man. Our frontline is better. We will compete with Georgetown because we always seem to scout them well and we don't give up layups/easy baskets.

BigEast is good.

Locks for NCAA: 'Nova, Pitt, Uconn, Georgetown.

Jury still deliberating: WVU, 'Cuse (we need to see them play a few decent teams), Notre Dame, SJU, UC, Providence (6-1; played no one)

Uc will compete with almost anyone because of there ferocious defense.. When you hold a team to 50 or 60 pts a game, you will always be right there with them.. If UC can have 2 to 3 guys give a good offensive game every night they are going to be hard to beat..If Dixon,Gates and Thomas or Kilpatrick average double digits along with everyone else scoring 4 to 6 pts a game and Wright distributing the ball with no turnovers, UC will be in very very good shape.. I think Athletically they can match up with anyone in the nation. Add in some solid coaching and this is the making of a very good ball club. I was thinking last night, at the rate UC is winning and the way they are dismanteling opponents, if they go undefeated into the Big East you would have to think they would break into the top 25!!! WOW wouldnt that be something.. losing your top two scorers and actually being a better program.....

You are right about the tie but he did hit three 3s in OT.
