Bearcats vs the Norseman 7pm at 5/3 Arena, be there or be square. The Bearcats should win by 15-20 but it is exhibition and Mick may play the second team a lot.

Mbodj not playing, he is also not playing in the season opener vs Alabama State. The RNN will probably have to do some investigating on the Mbodj situation as a sprained ankle should not take this long to heal.

I want/expect a lot of second team players to play. These games dont count. No one remembers if you lose a game like this. Got to use this as a chance to get players ready and not just play to win.

Sprained ankles take a long time to heal, even longer for people that are 6'10". It doesn't surprise me that he is still sitting out games. If it was BE play, I'm sure he'd be playing.

Not to mention he has turned it twice. As a former athlete I know first hand how a severely sprained ankle effects jumping and cutting. Glad Gaines and Ellis are getting playing time. Kelvin needs the minutes. Just hate that Moog is being set back by this.

This one is for you bearcat jeffrey

GO CATS!!

That's hilarious!! Even spelled my name right. I don't doubt you're a fan my friend....it's just that whole half empty/half full thing. We want the same thing just see getting there (where we are?) differently.

Lucky guess on my end.

But serious note, can agree 100% on the last part

Tonights game was not to impressive imo. UC should have been able to dominate this game. They didnt. Depth is starting to be a concern... Hopefully Chek will be awesome and Parker can step up.

Justin - best game of his career. lead the team in points, career high in rebounds, a few blocks, a few steals. He really looked to score tonight against the smaller NKU team. He made free throws as well.

Yancy - shot the ball really well... I have to question why he needed to be shooting fade aways but he hit all night.

Cash - played okay, shot the ball solid, played pesky defense. I thought he took a few poor shots, and missed a layup in the paint. He needs to finish better.

Dion - Really not a great game, missed some good looks from deep, had a terrible travel. Didnt really do much this evening.

SK - continued his exhibiton streak of poor shooting. Im not concerned, yet, but man he didnt bring anything again tonight.

The bench in general played a horrrible game.

G - looked lost defensively, didnt do much offensively.

Gaines - got out rebounded, made a stupid foul and took a seat.

Ellis - saw a few minutes and didnt do much with them

Sanders - is this guy a shooter? He had two very open looks and didnt even come close to cashing in.

jd - hardly got any minutes, but was pleased with what he did. Looks to push the tempo.

Our depth will not be our strength this year. This will be a very different team from last year. But I think it will be quite a bit better. Yancy looked really comfortable down low. He is going to have a great year. Only had 8 boards, but he was constantly being drawn outside by the guy he was defending. I don't see that being an issue with teams that actually play a big man.
