calm down dude, he was saying he didn't see it in that one exhibition game. he wasn't insulting your mother.

Lol this is ridiculous. He made a comment I didn't agree with, so I called him on it. I'm not worked up, I'm just not going to let something like that slide. End of story. Moving on...

Yes, we all understand (and haven't forgotten) that this is a process. This is a freaking fan forum where we run the full spectrum of giddiness to depression from game to game and come on here to state opinions. I realize that Morman and Moore could potentially "stink up the joint" tomorrow and Clark may look like Lebron. Then we'll have a whole new set of opinions based on "2" games. And, at the end of four years, we'll have a final opinion based on about 130 games. It's actually "not" silly to base an opinion on a player or a team based on one game. That one game is the only factual history we have on this current team so there's nothing wrong with having an opinion if that opinion is based on actual facts.

.....and yes, I know that the Bahamas game is also factual, but most of us did not see that game.

and TheLongHaul obviously didn't agree with your comment and called you out on it. He also didn't let something like that slide.

Honestly, this should have never developed into something we that we needed to move on from. There was nothing earth-shattering in what I said.

We had them by 15 late in the game, maybe 4 minutes left. We lost the big lead and they came back. A couple years ago, they beat Louisville. I think it was their national championship year or maybe the year prior to the title year. We're young and I personally expect just about anything to happen. We'll learn how to win, maybe the hard way. This is by far the most talented team Mick has had since coming to UC 9 years ago.

Bellarmine has never beaten Lousiville in the regular season or in an exhibition game. Maybe you are thinking about Xavier who lost to Bellarmine a few years ago.

I think "potentially" it is the most talented in terms of offense. Defense is a different story. And, for this team to reach its potential offensively, Gary Clark and Kevin Johnson will have to show a lot more than they have in the first two ballgames. Both have been very disappointing.

We had a lot of wide open looks on Saturday and threw up bricks. I was expecting KJ to really take that next step and be a significant upgrade to our threat from the outside, but he hasn't in these two games. Hopefully, that will change soon. Don't know what's up with Clark, although he did at least have a couple impressive blocks.

I would go a different route, it has the potential to be the most talented, but isn't yet. It is though IMO the most athletic team he has fielded.

IDK, the Sweet Sixteen team had current members Ge, Shaq, Octavious and Sanders. In addition to that had JD3, Cash, Dixon, JJ, Cheikh, SK, Kelvin, Yancy and Jaquon. That team IMO was his most athletic.

And everyone is entitle to their opinion, but I would strongly disagree with that assessment. Dixon, JJ, Cash and Shaq where the most athletic there. I wouldn't call Yancy, Cheikh, SK, Sanders or even G at that point overly athletic. At this point Sanders and probably Deberry are the least athletic, (which sounds bad b/c obviously they are athletic). Morman, KJ, Clark, Moore, Shaq, Troy, G has developed into it are all above that other team in my opinion. But hey it all comes down to how they perform on the court, that's what is going to matter in the end and I optimistic in the long run this will be a great bunch of guys.
