Vaughn's number were fairly consistent except I believe his sophmore year, percentage wise. The drop in his senior year was due to shots taken if I remember my research from some time back.

There was tremendous improvement from vaughns soph to jr year.

The senior year drop was unfortunate

How has that 1(one) sweet 16 in the last 15 years been treating you guys? How has cheering on the Big East instead of your own team been treating you guys?

Steve was a great player, and I honestly don't know--was he an All American his senior year? (seriously, I don't know.)

He finished in the top 3 in every POY vote. 1st team all-american. Outscored Southern Miss by himself in a game. Led his team to a #1 seed in March.

Tu is damn good. Not in the conversation with Steve. Not even close.

Who pounds their chest about sweet 16's? Final fours maybe but sweet 16? We being serious?

I think everyone can agree, the longer Mick is coach at UC, the better of Xavier is. I think Xavier would gladly pay his contract to keep him at UC.

Also, did anyone else get the feeling that UC saved the rivalry last year? Talk amoung Xavier fans was all about dropping the rivalry. It does nothing for X. It is a lose lose. Win, and you are suppose to win, lose and you are humiliated because you lost.

Completely false. Mick has gotten his teams better every year than the previous year at uc. He is on the rise. X fans are delusional if they believe that

Literally, every Xavier fan believes that. And that isn't trash talking- that is serious.

Ralph, you were one of the many who thought Mack was a terrible hire for Xavier, yet you think Mick is doing a great job. That's about the dumbest thing I've seen from the UC fan base.

UC needs to look at this as a huge opportunity. They are on the road playing the #8 team in the country- it very well may be the highest ranked team they face all year. (It all depends on how Louisville plays here on out). Take advantage and give it everything you got, even though deep down everyone on the team knows the only chance UC has is if Xavier doesn't bring it.

Every terrible, lame and cliche thing for both sides to say have been said already. This is going to be a fun week.

We want to discontinue the series
We will pay for Micks contract
Xavier players are thugs

Keep em coming!

Cincinnati plays Syracuse on Big Monday at home, who is currently ranked #3. Also I would like to add the 3 coaches who voted for UC in the Poll should be committed.

Well then the x fan base is dumber than we all thought.

Mick IS doing a GREAT job! Look at the records. Look at the improvement from year to year. You just won't admit it

Is it because they think they'll always win the game? Or so they actually have a chance to be the best program in the city?

It is because they have a better shot at winning the game every year with Mick at the helm. Not to mention, he is doing nothing to get this program where it was under Huggins- and it is fun to see a rival be horrible with not bright spot in the future.

Xavier is really good. Not that good tho lol

We will play 4 or 5 top 10 teams this year and they are all huge opportunities. Including this one. This one even more so sense it is Xavier.
