They are 14-13 overall and 5-10 in the conference. They had lost 5 straight before beating us, and have lost 3 straight since. That shouldn't be sitting well with our guys. I think we get a focused road effort with more of what we've been seeing lately. I think we'll be -8.

We have scored 121 points, for 40.3 per half in the last 3 halves. We had scored 82 points, for 27.3 per half in the 3 previous halves.

I have about a 33%-40% confidence level that we will win this game. The scary thing is, a loss could end our shot at making the NCAA, so losing is not an option. Whatever style we play, I hope their heads are focused and their effort level is off the charts. It will take a well-played game to win this one I believe.

I think we play better than last night. Guys look relaxed

Revenge game. That should be enough motivation for UC. Its pretty sweet UC is sending 100 UC students down to the game. Wish I was student again, I'd love to be in New Orleans again.

Are they really? I didn't get the email, drat.

Yeah man, I would have totally been that guy riding with the current students reliving my glory days but they shut that idea down. I hope our students get wasted and cheer their butts off. One of my most memorable experiences was going to the Sugar Bowl and living it up.

What was the criteria for selection? Rallycats?

If UC comes out with the same intensity as against USF, the game won't be close. My hope is the guards take this game personal as they were throughly outplayed in the first game.

It would certainly make it tougher, but not impossible. NTS posted in another thread that a loss tomorrow, followed by wins over Tulsa + Memphis to end the season, would result in an RPI in the 30s. But still, after the first debacle, there's no excuse for losing this one. Definitely a revenge game that I think we'll look to take control of and not let up at any point.

Did I hear that right on the broadcast the other night...that we've now won 38 in a row when we hit 70 points?

Correct. Cincinnati has not lost a game where they scored at least 70 points since February 11th 2012, when they lost at Marquette by the score of 95-78. Since the beginning of the 2010-11 season (the first NCAA tournament under Cronin), Cincinnati is 61-2 when they score at least 70 points. They have not lost a home game where they scored at least 70 points since March 2nd, 2010 (to #9 Villanova 77-73) a span of soon to be 5 years.

That's incredible.

Last year, they didn't lose any games if they scored 60 (58 if you want to get picky).
