Since we won @Tulsa two weeks ago, they have since lost by 20 @SMU, beat UConn by 6 at home, and narrowly lost by 2 @UCF in a game that came down to the final possession. They boast a 12-7 record (2-4 AAC) along with a #99 NET and #133 KP rating.

In Tulsa's last visit to Fifth Third, hot shooting created an 8-point lead for the visitors early in the 2nd half before a big run propelled the Cats to a double digit lead and a comfortable 8-point win.

Like every recent AAC game we're going to have to battle to win this one.

Tre Scott needs to be more consistent, he has games like this where I’m thinking he’s a good replacement for Gary and then other games where he is invisible

Justin jenifer wow...

He just needs to shoot more and more. We can’t afford to have him passing up shots. I know his road splits aren’t probably as good but he’s clearly shooting with a lot of confidence right now. On a night Cumberland goes 5 of 10 and we are talking about Jenifer...that’s impressive!

If you are looking for him to be Gary, you will always be disappointed. He may end up very good but he ain’t going to be no Gary.

Two reasons we won from what I saw rebounding and they missed free throws. Once we got comfortably up in the second half we were content to trade baskets. There is a lesson in that. Defense can ease up once you get a comfortable lead and just play out the rest of the game as long as you are essentially swapping baskets. No need to kill clock and then smother on defense, it is too exhausting. Is that what we failed to do against Neveda?

Brooks has blocked at least 2 shots in six consecutive games, and 13 times in total this year.

Jenifer has scored double digits and hit multiple 3-pointers in 4 straight games and 7 of his last 9. He has now hit more (35) this year than all of last season (30) or in his first two years combined (27). He is also 11 for 24 on the road from 3.
