Agreed. To survive a half with shots not falling and be tied is crucial. I'm not blaming the refs because we didn't look ready to play at the start but I do hate it when refs, who aren't familiar with the level of defense the Cats play, anticipate the foul.
I like the D picking up the ball fullcourt - really wore down the shotclock and made them take bad shots. Crucial adjustment!
2nd half should be much better.

Both are being super passive. Gary has passed up on some good looks in the paint to dish it out for a 3. Need to play inside out in the 2nd.

That's a shame. We looked fantastic in the Shootout when we started a number of offensive possessions by throwing it into Gary. Whether he posts up on the block or all the way out on the wing, he has an amazing ability to patiently back his guy down. The other team either has to double team or let him calmly bank in a baby hook.

Good things when he touches the ball in isolation. It makes our offense 1000x better.

Couldn't agree more. Our offense goes when we play inside/out with Gary being aggressive. When that doesn't happen, things get very stale.

We really miss Brooks. Personally I'd go more with the Scott, Clark and Washington rotation. Tell Wash and Gary to suck it up for a few games until Brooks gets back and play an extra workload of minutes.

Quadri is no better than a walk on and should only step on the floor in garbage time.
